Ford Adds to Its Portfolio – Auto Parking and Auto Driving

Ford has unveiled its latest addition to its active park assist (APA) package — perpendicular park assist. The technology complements the existing parallel park assist, which is currently available on most models. The system will back your car into perpendicular parking lot spots, allowing for perfect parking all the time.

Ford is also looking to tackle is traffic jams. Ford group vice president Raj Nair, comments, “As an engineer we’re always looking for a smarter way, a better way.”

Their plan is to combat congestion and frustration, by introducing Traffic Jam Assist, a technology which can optionally take over driving when the user is in stop and go traffic. The technology is similar to a low-speed cruise control, but adds automated braking and lane-keeping to the mix. Drivers can override the system at any time to change lanes.

Projector has become a necessity for businessmen and industrial leaders in order to present their latest product or service to their customers. The Pico Projector offered a lot of ease because it could be carried easily because of it’s small size and weight.

Kingston Launches HyperX SandForce SSD

For the users who prefer to use high performing SSDs on their devices, Kingston has just released it’s recent HyperX SandForce SSD which is worth checking out.

Kingston announced the release of HuperX Sandforce a couple of months ago and now it is ready for shipping. The SSDs feature an extraordinary read and write speed.

These SSDs feature 120GB and 240GB storage capacities. They are capable of up to 555MB/s of sequential read speed and 510MB/s sequential write speed.

If you’ve always wanted to stray from the pack, and avoid the likes of the iPad and the Kindle, read this. Electronics manufacturer Binatone, is offering a unique take on the eReader device.

It’s a seven inch Android eReader, and rocks an 800 x 400 pixel display with a QWERTY keyboard located below the screen. While it isn’t a touch screen device, you can navigate with the supplied trackpad to the right of the keyboard.

Sony Brings Qriocity Video Service To Smartphones

Sony recently introduced an app for Android devices called “Music Unlimited” which allowed Android users to listen to their favorite tracks on Qriocity powered cloud based music service.

Following the same tracks, Sony is planning to bring the Qriocity video service to Sony Ericsson smartphones. However, this service would be initially available on only a number of selected handsets. Currently, Sony plans to launch it only on its Sony Ericsson Xperia smartphones.

Spotify Gets Sued For Patent Infringement

Just two weeks after entering the U.S. market, Spotify has been sued for patent infringement by the PacketVideo, a Wireless Multimedia Platform Creator.

Spotify had recently signed up 70,000 paid users in it’s first week. The claim of PacketVideo is that Spotify did not follow certain recommendations and restrictions which every video streaming website should follow.

The PacketVideo claims that every video streaming website should have “A Device for the distribution of music information in digital form.”

AMD’s Next-Gen Fused Corona Desktop

AND is building it’s new technology of Corona Desktops by fusing the processor silicon with the Northbridge. The Corona will use Komodo CPUs.

AND is introducing a new CPU architecture known as Piledriver, which is the successor to the Bulldorzer. It is also known as the Second Generation of Bulldozer. The Komodo CPUs to be used in Corona will be using FM2 infrastructure and have up to 10 Piledriver CPU cores, AMD Turbo Core 3.0 and DDR3 memory.

Reality Car Windows Unveiled By Toyota!

Toyota is announcing new technology in their vehicles. The Japanese car manufacturing company unveiled a new window in a new manufactured vehicle where children can write on windows or make a sketch of outside objects.

The drawing will stick to the window till the outside object passes away or until the passenger itself removes it. That is something really cool for a long drive or even for small drives where any one can enjoy travel. For bored adults it’s really fascinating, and hopefully this new tech will be enough to keep consumers from worrying about a third recall.
