Survey Finds Americans Addicted To Youtube

Broadband and other facilities such as better mobile networks and devices have caused a huge impact on the citizens of many countries.

The recent survey showed that US citizens are more addicted to videos sites such as Youtube. About 28 percent of online users pay a visit to video sharing sites daily and over 71 percent of online american users, use websites related to video sharing.

Google Launches Page Speed Service

Google has always been concerned with speed, and they are now focusing on a new tool to help computer users get where they want to go, faster. The tool is called Page Speed Service, and works like this. The user signs up and points their site’s DNS entry to Google.

Google then grabs your content from your servers, rewrites your webpages, and re-serves those webpages on Google’s own servers. Bandwidth much? Don’t worry, it’s Google.

A pair of Stanford graduate students, Yi Cui and Yuan Yang research materials science on a regular basis, and have discovered something rather interesting, that is, they developed a transparent packaging for the battery.

How they did this was quite interesting, they reduced the size of the battery electrodes so small that they were invisible to the human eye.

Furthermore, the duo chose to use a structure of meshed electrodes, rather than using thin films. For flexibility, the researchers turned to a clear substance that is often used for contact lenses.

Intel’s Future With Andy Bryant As Chairman

Computer processor giant, Intel, has just appointed its new vice chairman, Andy Bryant to man the company’s board, with Bryant expected to take over as chairman by next May.

Andy Bryant has been an executive for Intel for the past few decades but has recently looked over the company’s tech and manufacturing sector. Bryant is expected to learn the ropes from the current chairman, Jane Shaw, who is expected to retire next year.
