New Sony Cybershots Coming This Month ?

If sources are to be believed, Sony will announce a new compact camera later this month. No official announcement yet but still it will be interesting to see what kind of new features will be coming with the new stuff.

According to popular rumors, Sony has chosen a completely new sensor for the upcoming professional SLT (Translucent) camera. The sensor will have 24 Megapixels but don’t worry, the noise performance of the sensor is equal if not better than current 14-16 Megapixels Sony sensors used for the NEX and A33/A55 cameras.

Dimenco Announces 52″ Lenticular TV

Ex-Philips engineers have started a company called Dimenco with the prime goal of developing glasses-free TV. Rather than calling them Googlers (since they didn’t work at Google), you have my permission to call them Philips-ers (although that doesn’t roll off the tongue very well.) The four engineers started the company with the idea that they would have the first commercial product available by year 2013.

Dimenco has today announced that it will be unleashing a 52″ lenticular (produces illusion of depth) TV LCD, offering full 1080p visuals via glasses-free 3D.

Sony Bloggie 3D- Get It While It’s Hot!

At the Consumer Electronics Show 2011, the Sony Bloggie 3D camera was revealed. The camera was designed to be in the price range of ordinary film shooters, at $249.99, users can shoot 3D videos at 1080p and take 3D still shots at 5MP. It has an Exmor-CMOS sensor that ensures you get the clearest shot, even in low light conditions. The camera can capture photos while you’re shooting video at the same time, which I think is the coolest feature. The camera comes with a 2.4″ 3D display that doesn’t require special 3D glasses to view.
