Meet The All-New, Panasonic Lumix DMC-LS5

Panasonic has unveiled its LUMIX DMC-LS5 digital camera featuring a 14.1Mp, 26mm wide angle, 5x optical zoom lens. This is an entry level camera with top quality features such as HD video recording and 26mm wide angle lens. Owing to its O.I.S feature, the camera is capable of taking crisp pictures even in dim-light situations and has the capability to capture a 720p high definition video.

The camera gets its power from AA batteries which is a little weird as AA batteries don’t last long. However, Panasonic has tried to justify this change by stating that they are aware of the consumers’ different requirements and preferences.

Console-Based Battlefield 3 Available Only In 720p

PC users will rejoice when hearing this news. DICE has recently claimed that the new Battlefield 3 game (which is available for both console and PC) will only run in 720p on game consoles, at 30 frames per second.

The PC version, however, will run at 1080p at 60 frames per second. If you just bought a new graphics card for your desktop computer, you made a good choice. And, if you just got a new Xbox360, well, you’ve always got Halo to look forward to.

Sony Ericsson Unleashes Xperia Arco

Sony Ericsson has recently come forth and and announced a new addition to its current Xperia lineup. The new phone is called the Xperia Arco and resembles the Japanese SE Xperia Arc. Sony stated in its press release that the new phone will come with Android 2.3, Gingerbread and run on a 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor with Adreno 205 graphics.

The 8.1MP camera is capable of recording 720p video for all those moments you’ll want to capture. The camera also has Exmor R technology, allowing low light stills and videos to turn out crisper than ever before.

Nokia E6-00 Leaked!

There has just been a massive leak of Nokia E6-00 information, complete with a video which you can see below.

A prototype of the phone has found its way into the hands of the NokioTeca forums, giving us interesting details such a a VGA resolution touch screen paired with a physical keyboard, the use of a new version of Symbian^3 (which has been changed to fit the display), 3G with HSDPA, Wi-Fi, and stereo speakers. The screens are 640 x 480, which is a higher resolution that most Nokia products.

The phone includes a 8.0 megapixel camera and dual LED flash, and also an external speaker. The design of the phone is clean, and they keyboard looks delightful. Past phones in Nokia’s E series have received reviews lauding their design, however reviewers have a tendency to dislike Symbian. We’ll have to wait to see if this holds true for the E6-00.
