Sony Ericsson Mobile Leak: Urushi / ST18i

We’ve just heard some news about the all-new Sony Ericsson Urushi, or ST18i as some call it. While the device is shiny and beautiful, the inside specs aren’t as impressive as its outer shell. The device is equipped with a 1GHz ARM processor, a speed that feels a little sluggish compared to the more recent 1.5GHz models.

In addition to the slower cpu, Sony slapped on 335MB of RAM while HTC & co. are equipping their new devices with 768MB of RAM.

QuadCore Snapdragon, Due Early Next Year

Qualcomm spilled the beans on its next-generation Snapdragon chips at the Taiwan computer show, Computex 2011. The company itself, said that consumers can expect to see dual-core Snapdragon chips for Windows on ARM-based platforms first (mainly tablets), and eventually will be introduced to the 3G/LTE hybrid dual-core MSM8930, capable of clock speeds of up to 2.5GHz.

Now here’s where the QuadCore news comes in, the four-core APQ8064 chipset is due in the first half 2012 and will feature up to 2.5GHz *per core,

Sony Ericsson Unleashes Xperia Arco

Sony Ericsson has recently come forth and and announced a new addition to its current Xperia lineup. The new phone is called the Xperia Arco and resembles the Japanese SE Xperia Arc. Sony stated in its press release that the new phone will come with Android 2.3, Gingerbread and run on a 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor with Adreno 205 graphics.

The 8.1MP camera is capable of recording 720p video for all those moments you’ll want to capture. The camera also has Exmor R technology, allowing low light stills and videos to turn out crisper than ever before.

Introducing Samsung’s Galaxy S Plus- LEAKED!

Samsung is coming out with a new model of the Galaxy S, called the Galaxy S Plus. The new revision of the popular S tablet will have the same specs as the previous version with some slight changes. For one, the Galaxy S Plus will be powered by 1.4GHz single core Snapdragon processor. The machine will house an Adreno 205 GPU with 512MB RAM and 8GB of on-board storage.
