When we think of LG, we normally think TVs or cellphones, but LG has just launched it’s prize-winning V300 AIO (all in one) PC in Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Asia. The computer was built for those who need a solid computer without taking too much space with a clunky desktop.

Apple Starts iMac HD Replacement Program

iMac is Apple’s popular line of of all-in-one computers. you have the central processing unit and the display in one package looking like a giant monitor.

Looks like Apple is facing some problems with the hardware of the iMacs shipped during 2011. It is not a big problem as hardware might face some sort of damage during manufacturing. Usually when you think of AIO (All-In-One’s) you think of a sleek and slender computer with the bare essentials to get you on your way. You’d probably expect a 128GB SSD, an Intel processor, and 4GB of RAM.

Just a week ago, we blogged about the Gigabyte motherboard with the integrated 20GB SSD. Glenn Barber spoke about how he thought it was cool to have 20GB of space on the motherboard so that users could easily reformat without re-installing the operating system each time.

I have to admit that even I thought that was a cool new feature at the time, until the Computex 2011 show when I heard that Gigabyte will also be releasing motherboards with 60GB, 120GB, and 240GB of *integrated on-board SSD, providing a max read/write of 140MB/s and 90MB/s, respectively.

The Acer Aspire G3100 Predator, Scared Yet?

Acer has just unveiled its new desktop gaming PC. This powerhouse is called the Aspire G3100 Predator and is fueled by an AMD processor. While most modern computers run on Intel processors, AMD is no lightweight contender, especially when it’s the Phenom II hexa-core (six core) processor, as is in this beautiful machine. The machine comes stock with 4GB of RAM but is upgradeable to 8GB of RAM.

There is also a 1TB hard drive. Users can upgrade to 6TB of hard drives (3 x 2TB HDD), but few people will need that much storage.
