Samsung Stays Competitive W/ 7″ Super AMOLED Screen

Samsung is taking their work very seriously, and will roll out an improved resolution on their current 7″ AMOLED display. In order to stay competitive with new electronics models, that seem to be rolling out on a weekly basis, it seems like we are entering a pixel war.

Just a few weeks ago, we talked about the possible iPad HD, and greater resolutions all around the table from brand-name electronics manufacturers. News of this new AMOLED shouldn’t come as much of a surprise.

New HD LCD Screen By Hitachi

A new LCD screen that was launched by Hitachi, can be used for viewing 3D content without using any glasses. This latest screen is 4.5 inches wide and can be used in small gadgets and portable devices.

According to experts, a lot of improvement has been made in this new LCD screen. Last year, Hitachi launched a 3.1 inch screen with just 480*854 resolution. This time the resolution is 1280*720 which is a big difference and great improvement.

Leak: Nokia 700 Zeta Smartphone

We’ve just heard about the Nokia 700 Zeta leak, designed to succeed the previous Nokia C6-01. The phone will feature the latest in Symbian software using Belle as its operating system. The Zeta is expected to be one of the thinnest Nokia phones out there.

The phone features a 5MP camera with LED flash, NFC support (yay), and a gorgeous 3.5″ nHD AMOLED display that will make your mobile games come to life. I have heard some criticisms that AMOLED displays cause stress on the eyes when used for longer periods of time, but let’s just hope you’re not one of those phone addicts.

Tokyo Museum Set To Unveil Interactive OLED Globe

The National Museum of Emerging Science and Innovation in Tokyo will present an OLED geo-cosmos. The Geo-cosmos was designed to display images of the Earth taken from a meteorological satellite, and includes cloud formations and storm patterns.

The globe measures six meters around and has a resolution of approximately 10 million pixels, spanning 103,620 PMOLED (Passive Matrix OLED) panels, each measuring 96 sq mm.

Two New HTC Leaks: Eternity + Omega

We’ve probably covered over ten new HTC leaks in the past month, but here are two more. HTC is supposedly working on two new Windows Phone 7 handsets, both running the new Mango update. The HTC Eternity will be a higher end device while the HTC Omega will be more of an entry-level Android phone. The Eternity will feature AMOLED screen technology, giving it the beautiful display to complement powerful hardware. The Eternity is expected to have a wide-angle 8MP camera with LED flash.

On May 15th, mark your calendars because Samsung will be releasing the fastest device on the AT&T network. The phone will support HSPA+ download speeds of up to 21Mbps. The Infuse 4G has a 4.5-inch screen and looks terrific. Even with the relatively large display, the handset remains thin at the width. The AMOLED Plus display offers vibrant colors that will ensure you never put your phone down, which may run down the battery just a bit. If looks weren’t enough, check out its blazing fast 1.2GHz processor and 8MP rear-facing camera.

Introducing Samsung’s Galaxy S Plus- LEAKED!

Samsung is coming out with a new model of the Galaxy S, called the Galaxy S Plus. The new revision of the popular S tablet will have the same specs as the previous version with some slight changes. For one, the Galaxy S Plus will be powered by 1.4GHz single core Snapdragon processor. The machine will house an Adreno 205 GPU with 512MB RAM and 8GB of on-board storage.

The new Galaxy will carry the same 4-inch AMOLED screen with WVGA at a modest 800 x 480 resolution. Users of the Galaxy S Plus will enjoy a sharp…
