LulzSec Posts Fake Article Claiming Murdoch’s Death

I guess LulzSec never really resigned, and the whole thing was just a way to engage in a cooldown period and get the FBI off their backs (at least a little bit). Then again, members of LulzSec are known to go rogue and just do their own thing.

Rather than simply taking down a website, they decided to post a fake Times newspaper page that masqueraded as the Sun. Following the attack, the hackers tweeted “We have joy we have fun we will mess up Murdoch’s Sun: http://t.co/JArvwg1 | Hi Rupert! Have fun tomorrow at the Parliament! #AntiSec”

‘Teampoison’ Threatens To Reveal LulzSec Identities

A hacking group in the Netherlands, dubbed teaMp0ison threatens to publish photos, phone numbers, and addresses of LulzSec members in order to give them a taste of their own medicine. The ‘medicine’ refers to what LulzSec did to some of its own members after learning some members went rogue and leaked log files to officials.

Not only does teaMp0ison question the methods of LulzSec but one of the members was also ridiculed by a member of LulzSec and is looking to get revenge.

Sony’s Last Words Before Court Hearing

CEO of Sony Computer Entertainment, Kazuo Hirai offered an explanation for the Sony attacks less than a week before Sony’s June 2nd court date. Hirai undoubtedly pins the attacks to the Anonymous group who made a number of threats against Sony, immediately after Sony decided to pursue George Hotz for teaching others how to pirate. Let me also remind you that a file was found deep in Sony’s network that carried the slogan of the Anonymous group, “We are Legion” and the file was called “Anonymous.” Assuming Anonymous isn’t being framed by some rival hacking group (if there is one), all fingers point to them.
