iPad 2 HD Coming This Fall?

According to thisismynext’s sources, Apple is preparing to surprise consumers with an all-new iPad HD. The awesome iPad will have double the resolution for a phenomenal 2048 x 1536 pixels on the 10″ screen.

That one sentence should be all it takes to make you want to mark your calendars for an Apple upgrade! If the rumors hold any weight, the new tablet will obviously be tailored to luxury consumers or tech fanatics.

Chinese Boy Sells Kidney To Buy iPad, Now Faces Regret

A 17 year old Chinese boy had decided to sell his kidney for 20,000 Chinese Yuan (about $3,000 USD) so he could buy an iPad, according to the Shanghai Daily. I have no idea what the boy was thinking and if he knew exactly what he was getting into. I can understand when a loved one makes the decision to donate a kidney to a family member or close friend, but how about some stranger on the Internet?

We’re not sure what medium was used to contact the boy, but the boy agreed and the arrangements were made. His mother had no idea about the decision until he came home.

SanDisk Spills The Beans On HP TouchPad

It seems like SanDisk may have stepped on HP’s toes just a bit at the ongoing Computex 2011 show. Thanks to SanDisk we are able to blog about the upcoming HP TouchPad. How does this differ from the previous TouchPad? This one has a zipper operating system, using WebOS. Consumers can expect to find this device at Walmart in June and OfficeMax in July.

The 16GB version of the tablet will start at $499 with the 32GB at $599 and the 64GB at $699. As shown in the video, the tablet is great at multi-tasking, allowing users to have a multitude of applications open, simultaneously, with the ability to seamlessly swipe to your desired app.

The airline ipads will contain a specialized application called GoodReader that is loaded with PDF versions of 41 flight, systems and performance manuals, reference cards, and other materials.

The electronic manuals have hyperlinks and color graphics allowing pilots to find information faster and easier.

App Lets You Read Books To Your Kids Remotely

Despite the recent low blow strategy to boost up sales, we cannot deny that Apple is still a key player in the tech world. To take it one step further, they still have innovative software for consumers to use, and the apps that run on their devices are no exception.

Ustwo has released a revolutionary app that truly welcomes human-computer interaction Nursery Rhymes with StoryTime (catchy, isn’t it?). Not only does it allow you to read to your child, remotely, but it gives that extra dimension of magic that a story brings to a child.
