Google Analytics Gets Official Mobile App

Google just announce the launch of Google Analytics App for Android phones!

With the Google Analytics App, you can access the same accounts and profiles you see when you open Analytics from a desktop browser, but the reports that are optimized for your phone.

Google will be providing access on an incremental basis to Google Analytics users who sign up to participate in the beta test, with general availability coming later this summer.

Google Will Merge Hangouts, Talk & Messenger

Google has been working on unifying various real-time messaging applications across all devices, and the result are likely to be a unified messenger that allows anyone to do one-on-one chats as well as group video Hangouts.

According to Google Product Manager Nikhyl Singhal, Google has “done an incredibly poor job servicing our users here.” Singhal said that Google doesn’t have anything to announce, but that the company is definitely working on unifying all messaging experiences in the near future.

Facebook Now Allows You To Edit Comments

Surely there have been times you written a comment in Facebook, responding to an update, only to find that you have a typo or simply didn’t write what you wanted. Before, all you could do was delete that comment or, if you saw an error quickly, you could edit it within a few seconds after you wrote that post.

Facebook has rolled out a new update that allows users to actually edit a comment long after it has been posted. Facebook’s support page has the simple details on how to edit a comment you’ve already posted. This new feature should be available to all Facebook users in the next few days. With the new update, users will be able to edit their comments at any time, even with comments that you have previously written on other user’s status updates.
