The internet is full of translator websites, however, none are excellent and few are accurate. Ase Deliri is attempting to solve this by creating the Silo universal translator. The site offers support for 880 language/ dialect combinations, including sign language, and offers you the ability to search across all dialects within a language.
Silo’s content is user-generated, so people have to register and upload information. Also, the translations are phrase-based, as opposed to translating individual words like most current online translators which often come up with interesting and inaccurate results. Users will be able to tag phrases with descriptions such as “insult” or “local proverb.”
