Acer Shows Off Core-Powered Aspire W/ 8GB RAM

Acer has just dropped another notebook that is bound to get your attention. This puppy is called the Acer Aspire 5755 Notebook and is powered by Intel Sandy Bridge Core processor with a whopping 8GB of DDR3 memory, 1TB of onboard storage, a blu-ray player, Wifi and all the standard fixings.

If you were waiting to get your hands on a powerhouse laptop for this Fall semester, you’ve finally met your match. The 15.4″ LED display shows off a gorgeous 1366 x 768 pixel resolution.

That Is One Happy Acer, Literally

Acer has just launched the Acer Happy 2. The netbook has an Intel Atom N570 processor, a modest upgrade over the N550 and comes in very bright colors; pink peach, lemon yellow, orange, papaya and blue curacao, hoping to gage the mind for the upcoming Summer season. I’ve always wondered how it felt like to compute on a brightly colored laptop when you’re in a bad mood. Do the bright colors improve the mood or make it much worse?

The Acer Aspire G3100 Predator, Scared Yet?

Acer has just unveiled its new desktop gaming PC. This powerhouse is called the Aspire G3100 Predator and is fueled by an AMD processor. While most modern computers run on Intel processors, AMD is no lightweight contender, especially when it’s the Phenom II hexa-core (six core) processor, as is in this beautiful machine. The machine comes stock with 4GB of RAM but is upgradeable to 8GB of RAM.

There is also a 1TB hard drive. Users can upgrade to 6TB of hard drives (3 x 2TB HDD), but few people will need that much storage.

Acer Updates Aspire One Lineup

Acer has rolled out a nice update to the Aspire One 521, the Aspire One 522. While the new name probably doesn’t shock you, hopefully the specs will. The 10-inch netbook features an AMD C-50 cpu running cool. In Acer’s efforts to keep consistent with their hardware refresh, they are also updating the Aspire One 721 model to 722 and will be shipping the 11.6″ netbook with a 1366 x 768 pixel resolution.

The 722 will feature the same 1Ghz processor as the new Aspire One 522 and will feature an AMD Radeon HD 6250 graphics chipset.
