DEAL: HP TouchPad Is Available For $50 Less

In the current run in the dominating tablet industry, it is really hard to keep up. I reckon HP has realized this fact pretty quickly.

HP recently released its HP touchpad, a tablet computer which featured HP’s WebOS 3.0 operating system. Unfortunately, contrary to what HP had hoped, the device had not been able to garner a lot of success because of its competitors such as the iPad 2 and Motorola Xoom.

Sprint: AT&T Can Boost Network 6-Fold Without T-Mobile

In what seems like a last ditch effort from Sprint, the wireless carrier offered a solution to AT&T’s weak coverage through an FCC filing. Sprint claims that AT&T could increase its network capacity by 600% by year 2015 simply by making better use of the network resources it has.

Sprint allocates a 250% improvement from AT&T’s unused spectrum for 4G, while introducing a mixed-size network with both large and small cells could boost the network by an additional 300%.

Verizon Cancels ‘Unlimited Data’ Plan

Verizon Wireless will join AT&T and T-Mobile, starting next month, by eliminating ‘unlimited data’ plans for mobile phones. Users will have to fork over additional money for fees in excess of their monthly allotment of media and web content.

With the huge influx of tablet PCs and wireless carriers getting stingier by the day, who knows what kind of an effect we will see on tablet PC sales. Will people mainly buy tablets to use on their own WiFi networks?

AT&T Unleashes $50 Unlimited GoPhone Prepaid Plan

If you’re fan of T-Mobile’s unlimited talk, text, and web, but can’t afford to shell out $79.99 a month, you may have considered rolling with Boost Mobile. Boost is now offering unlimited talk, text, and web for $35 a month, which is a steal if you are in a well-covered area.

Well it looks like you have one more option for your unlimited fix. AT&T has just announced a new GoPhone pre-paid service plan that is a $50 per month unlimited plan, offering unlimited talk, text, and web.
