Nokia E6 Hits Philippines

The Nokia E6 has just his the electronics market in the Philippines for a lower than expected price of 17,820.00 Php or about $408 USD for those who wish not to whip out a currency converter. The E6 is of course powered by Symbian’s Anna operating system.

Even though it runs Symbian, die-hard Nokia enthusiasts will most likely take the hit. The device itself is quite beautiful and makes a great touchscreen alternative to typical Nokia phones. The Nokia E6 is also Wifi capable, with bluetooth 3.0 functionality, allowing you to connect with other devices.

Major Take-Aways From WWDC 2011

Apple’s CEO announced today a new service called iCloud at Apple’s WorldWide Developer Conference 2011. The service allows Apple product owners to store both documents and music in the cloud (on the Internet) rather than on a physical computer, hard drive, or mobile phone.

With the iCloud, users will be able to have greater access to content without having to max out their portable media devices. The iCloud also will offer the convenience of synchronizing automatically with all of the user’s Apple devices (iPhone, iPads, and Mac computers), allowing users to access docs, apps, calendars, and e-mails from any location without having to worry to remember to hit the Sync Button on their computer. HP’s New Mobile Operating System- LEAKED!

We’ve waited long enough and now are able to catch the first glimpse of Hewlett-Packard’s next mobile operating system, WebOS 3.0 Beta 1. Thanks to a recent leak of the webOS 3.0 emulator we can get a feel for what this operating system will be all about. To start off, like all other operating systems you will have a basic homescreen that just contains your wallpaper. To access your applications, you can use the arrow/home key at the bottom right to bring up a tabbed launcher. When the user chooses to rearrange any apps they will feel as though they are navigating through Apple’s iOS.

Tapping on the device menu in the top right corner allows the user to view the battery percentage, brightness, VPN options, Airplane Mode, Rotation Lock and the Mute feature.
