Battlefield 3 Begins Alpha Testing Stage

While Battlefield is just a few months away (I’ve already pre-ordered my copy), it looks like Dice has already started its alpha testing schedule. They are even inviting gamers to come forth for those who want to get a taste of the latest game in the successful franchise.

Of course, they’re probably going to need one of those high end rigs that’ll set you back around two grand, but hey- you gotsta do what ya gotsta do. The Alpha testing will pave the way for Beta testing which you can expect in September, and hopefully, by the release date (October 28th), you can expect a game that is mostly bug-free.

The game will be finally released worldwide on September 20, 2011.

If these statistics are supposed to make me by a console, better luck next time, Nintendo. Another thing I would like to see back up those percentages would be a sample group, who exactly was surveyed, etc. If the sample group was only 100 people, then the results should be taken with a grain of salt.

3GB Graphics Cards- A Trending Norm?

Asus is rocking two new graphics cards, the MARS II and the Matrix GTX 580 (displayed top). The Matrix can be purchased in two versions, standard and Platinum. Both cards carry a more than plentiful 1.5GB of RAM and each has a dual-fan cooling solution that takes an entire three PCI slots, making these graphic cards fit best in full tower computer cases.
