First Chromebook Launched In U.K., Kogan Agora

Computer manufacturer, Kogan, has just launched the first Chrome OS-powered laptop in Australia and the United Kingdom. The chromebook is dubbed the Kogan Agora and is an ultra portable laptop that runs the Chrome OS on an Intel Celeron 1.3GHz processor, with 1GB of DDR2 RAM. The RAM (memory) is expandable to four gigabytes, and the unit comes with a 30GB solid state drive.

The Kogan Agora features an 11.6″ WXGA HD LED display, featuring a decent 1366 x 768 pixel resolution.

Samsung Announces DDR 2.0 Multi-Level-Cell Memory

Samsung announced today that it will be the first in the industry to produce a high-performance toggle DDR 2.0 multi-level-cell memory chip. The NAND flash chip will feature a 64GB density, this is made possible through advanced 20 nanometer process technology. The chip was specifically built to support high-performance requirements of mobile devices such as smartphones, tablets and solid state drives.
