Iiyama Rolls Out New ProLite Monitors

Iiyama Japan has just announced two new LED backlit ProLite monitors. The ProLite E2473HDS is a 24″ monitor, while the ProLite E2273HDS is a 21.5″ monitor. Both models come with Full HD resolution, a 1,000:1 static contrast ratio and a 5,000,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio.

Now these monitors will originally be sold exclusively through Japan, but as with all technology, we are likely to see similar spec’d hardware pop up all over the globe. The monitors each have a 5ms response time, making sure that there is minimal blur with moving objects on the screen.

The Trim Slice can be bought for as low as $199 and is technically a desktop computer with a 1 GHz Nvidia Tegra 2 dual core processor. The computer has four USB ports, 2 SD card slots, an RS232 port, and a HDMI output. For an extra $20, you can get an 802.11n WiFi adapter and a 4GB microSD card.

Get this, for only $319, you can get a 32GB solid state disk, Linux operating system, DVI port, Wifi, and Bluetooth for about the price of a mp3 player.
