Badges For Google Article Readers!

The innovative company, Google has brought in the Google News Badges in the United States, which actually motivates people for reading the articles on Google News (everybody likes to earn badges) and accordingly awards the reader digitally for reading the articles.

The service is initially limited to the US only but later on it will be expanded throughout the Globe. The service works like, initially the reader is awarded with a bronze badge, as you read more articles you receive a silver, gold, platinum and the coveted blue ultimate star.

Professors Focusing On Google+ As A Medium For Study

The previous attempts of Google at social networking (Google Buzz and Google Wave) failed to achieve the expected objectives; with other leading social networks like Facebook, Twitter and somewhat Orkut in the field, they needed to do better to survive.

Google’s most recent attempt, Google+, covered one major flaw of the other social networking sites and that is managing different groups with the same platform. This has made various professors to consider Google+ for connecting with their students.

Adobe Enhances Learning Software

Adobe has just released an update to its current eLearning Suite platform. If you haven’t yet heard of eLearning suite, it’s basically a collection of tools that are used to make educational content for academic and professional purposes. The updated version 2.5 of the eLearning platform includes: a focus on creating more streamlined workflows, more output options, and is more user friendly.

Adobe is also allowing customers license the eLearning Suite through a monthly or yearly subscription (as it is doing for its photo editing software).
