Looks like the social networking giant Facebook is now making a leap in to e-book industry. Push Pop Press is a renowned iPad e-book publisher known for re-mastering and publishing content such as Al Gore’s “Our Choice”. The publisher had been working on some other titles for touch devices lately. According to latest reports Facebook has procured Push Pop Press. We can’t tell what exactly Facebook is going to do with the acquisition but one thing is clear that Facebook is definitely not going to publish e-books. |

Facebook improved the ‘Friends and Family’ options by adding a new feature to those who expect a child. The new option in the profile allows an expectant mother to add their expected baby to the family circle. The parents can even choose a name for the unborn baby. The due date can also be added along with the name under the “Friends and Family” tab. However it doesn’t require a new profile to be created for the child. |

Looks like Facebook is too tired of bugs which strike the social networking site often. Recently Facebook eliminated a bug with video privacy settings after it lasted for the whole week. Obviously, Facebook doesn’t want to lose their current top spot among social networking websites so the company is keen to keep the website fully functional to avoid any angry users. |

The much-anticipated and apparently leaked Facebook app for iPad had a short life. The crack was discovered by TechCrunch. The app was actually a modified version of the already available Facebook iPhone app. Facebook didn’t really like the leaked application and has now blocked the app. Facebook doesn’t want the app to be used before they officially release it. If you are the fortunate one to have already activated the app, you can keep using it. The activated app can still be used but those who haven’t early done the hacking cannot activate it any longer; they will have to wait for Zuckerberg and Co to officially release the app. |
