Huawei Launches Vision With Android Gingerbread

Huawei, though not very successful in the smartphone industry, just keeps on pushing smartphones in the market. A recent example of Huawei, was their Ideos smartphone series had not been very successful because of bulky designs and average specs.

But now, it seems as if Huawei has learned a lesson. The company announced it’s all-new Huawei Vision in Beijing today. Although it is not a high end smartphone, it packs some pretty nice features and hardware. It will come loaded with Android Gingerbread 2.3 and some sort of “3D interface”.

DEAL: HP TouchPad Is Available For $50 Less

In the current run in the dominating tablet industry, it is really hard to keep up. I reckon HP has realized this fact pretty quickly.

HP recently released its HP touchpad, a tablet computer which featured HP’s WebOS 3.0 operating system. Unfortunately, contrary to what HP had hoped, the device had not been able to garner a lot of success because of its competitors such as the iPad 2 and Motorola Xoom.

New Help Section: What’s New In Google+

Google is earnest to gain its lost spot among the social networking buzz by enhancing Google+. Also Google is adding many cool features to Google+. Recently Google bought Fridge for enhancing Google+ circles.

But this time Google+ has done an interesting thing. In the help section, Google+ has added a new section which gives a glimpse about the new features which Google is currently adding to the network. This new help section is named “What’s New In Google+”. There are blog like posts in this section related to the new features either by Google employees or some youtube videos which explain the new features.

Google Acquires Facial Recognition Company, Pittpatt

Google is keenly interested in upgrading its current projects and adding new and exciting features to them. Recently, Google bought Fridge, a social networking firm. Now Google has acquired PittPatt(Pittsburg Pattern Recognition), a face recognition software company.

Apple To Provide Better Voice Features In iOS 5?

People always demand endless control over electronic gadgets. Probably keeping in view with this theory, voice recognition systems were introduced in smart phones providing the users more freedom of control over the device.

iPhone 5 May Be Hitting Us This Fall, Afterall

For the past few months there have been rumors regarding the release of Apple’s new iPhone device. Because of some initial problems faced by the previous iPhone 4, people had been eagerly waiting for a new fault free and upgraded iPhone.

The news on the internet lately had been that Apple would release a slightly enhanced and cheaper version of iPhone 4 known as iPhone 4S sometimes in August or September and the fully features iPhone 5 device in January.

Survey Says: People Prefer WP7 To Android

If You thought Android was the best after Apple`s IOS-based iPhone, you got it wrong. Microsoft has made promises to add a dazzling 500 more features in there new Windows Phone 7.5 ‘Mango’.

According to a survey by Change Wave the old users of Windows phone are more than satisfied with the performance and features of the smart phone, than the Android users.

People at Change Wave report “the higher Windows Phone 7 rating has yet to produce a sustained momentum boost for Microsoft in term of buyer preferences.”

New Sony Cybershots Coming This Month ?

If sources are to be believed, Sony will announce a new compact camera later this month. No official announcement yet but still it will be interesting to see what kind of new features will be coming with the new stuff.

According to popular rumors, Sony has chosen a completely new sensor for the upcoming professional SLT (Translucent) camera. The sensor will have 24 Megapixels but don’t worry, the noise performance of the sensor is equal if not better than current 14-16 Megapixels Sony sensors used for the NEX and A33/A55 cameras.

iPod Software Update For Better Gaming

The 4.1 software update is the first major update to software 4 for the iPod touch.The new software is bringing game center, new iTunes features, and more to iPod touch. There is a feature called FaceTime. FaceTime brings video calling to iPod touch. So now you can see your friends and talk to them with high resolution of 960 by 640. Everything you see and do on iPod touch looks even better than before.

Introducing Panasonic’s Toughbook 53

Panasonic announced this morning that it will be delivering the Toughbook 53, the big brother from the Toughbook 52. Instead of a 15.4-inch screen, the T53 will sport a 14-inch display. The T53 will also be significantly lighter than the T52’s 7.2 pounds, weighing in at 5.6 pounds. The T53 was designed for vehicle-mounting and will ship with 4G LTE which will supply the iron-strength notebook with the speed needed for today’s computing.
