If you enjoy having Netflix shipped to your door, or GameFly giving you the option to test drive games before you buy, you may want to hear this. T-Mobile and Wild Tangent are pairing up to unleash a new rental games service, for gamers who don’t want to waste money on games they don’t like.

Although with most Android apps, you can return the game within 15 minutes of purchase, sometimes it takes longer than that time frame to make a decision on whether a game is worth it.

Xbox Rolls Out Firmware Update W/ Major Glitch

There’s a new firmware update for the Xbox 360 that allows individuals to read higher capacity discs. The only problem is that the new firmware update will not work on every console since some older Xbox 360s aren’t able to work around the format. Microsoft has stated that a very small number of units are affected but has stated that they plan on replacing any of the affected consoles.

The company is offering to replace affected consoles with a brand new Xbox 360 Slim with 250GB hard drive at no cost to the consumer. Of course, users will have to send back their old console before getting a new one and the offer will expire by the end of September.

Redbox Will Soon Carry Videogames In Over 21,000 Locations

Redbox is a popular DVD rental kiosk that is found in many grocery stores. Users walk up to the big red machine and select from a list of popular movies and new releases. Consumers pay one or two dollars, and have a DVD vended out to them. Everything is done electronically of course, and the machines accept multiple forms of payment. To return the movie, customers simply scan the receipt and/or DVD and are merrily on their way.
