The Google+ frenzy has surrounded every one on the web ever since the release of this social networking platform. The reason being Google doesn’t want organizations to create fuss on their platform which still somehow is passing evaluation phases. Google+ had already told businesses not to join with regular profiles as Google was working on a separate version for Google+ solely for business organization.

Google+ Hitting The 20M Mark!

There seems to be no stopping Google+, it is expanding righteously like a beast unleashed in social. A short while ago they were celebrating 10 million users and now it’s about to hit 20M mark in few days, stunning!

Google+ is going to achieve the milestone within three weeks after its launch.

By Monday, the site hit 18m users and it was growing at 750,000 per day! Although the rate of growth has slowed down a bit since last week, when a million people joined each day.

Shortly after the launch of Google+, Google has released Google+ App For iphone which is creating huge Buzz across the social circles. Especially after both critics and users panned Google’s recent social networking project Google buzz, Google+ was expected to regain much of the market lost by Google.

Google+ has been getting a lot of buzz since its launch a few weeks back, but while some may think the Google team is sitting back and relaxing, quite the opposite is actually happening behind the scenes.

According to Geek.com, the senior vice president of google Social, Vic Gundotra claims that the platform has received a lot of criticisms since launch and that the team is working hard to address those criticisms and give users exactly what they are looking for in a social experience.

Spotify Comes To U.S. Residents, Perhaps For A Facebook Debut?

Spotify, a Swedish DRM-based music streaming service includes both major labels such as Sony, EMI, and Universal, and independent labels. The startup was launched in October of 2008, and I am please to announce that the service will soon be available to U.S. customers.

The announcement was actually made earlier in the month when Spotify had confirmed that it would come to the U.S., although it had not provided a specific launch date.

Online Shopping Glitch Lets Customers Shop For Free

Online shoppers in New Zealand were stocking up on incredible electronic bargains after a glitch on the Dick Smith website let users purchase items at no cost.

Dick Smith were forced to temporarily take down their New Zealand homepage after online shoppers were able to purchase goods, prompted to pay nothing but the cost of postage and handling. Only the New Zealand website was affected, and shoppers using the Australian site were able to continue shopping as usual, albeit without the super-sale prices.

HP Plans August Release For 64GB TouchPad

According to some leaked roadmap slides, Hewlett-Packard is planning to follow up on its just-released first TouchPad tablet with a “white glossy” model due out in August that sports a more powerful processor and 64GB of internal storage.

There will be a 4G edition with HSPA+ model of the TouchPad as well which is tipped to arrive on AT&T. Apart from the change in modem, everything else about this model will be the same as the current 32GB model.

Ford Sued Over SYNC Technology

A Washington state technology company filed a patent infringement lawsuit against Ford in federal court.

Eagle Harbor Holdings, and its subsidiary MediusTech, claim Ford used several automotive technologies in Ford, Lincoln, and Mercury vehicles without authorization.

LG Optimus 3D Launched In Korea

LG yesterday launched Optimus 3D in South Korea. The launch was accompanied by the announcement of 17 Stereoscopic 3D games for the smartphone from Gameloft.

Three of these games Asphalt 6: Adrenaline, N.O.V.A. — Near Orbit Vanguard Alliance and Let’s Golf 2 will come pre-loaded on Korean LG Optimus 3D, while the rest will be available for purchase directly from the smartphone.
