PDFs Pose Threat In iOS Devices

It recently came to light that a security hole in iOS means users could potentially find their iDevices infected with malware if they open dodgy attachments.

Users are particularly vulnerable when they view Portable Document Format, or PDF, files, which give attackers an opportunity to infect the devices with malicious software, giving them administrative rights to the device.

Is Motorola Xoom Getting Android 3.2 “Within Days?”

Heads up Motorola Xoom owners, you may be seeing another Honeycomb update coming your way in the very near future. Yesterday, a Google employee apparently confirmed Android 3.2 Honeycomb, the update that got unofficially detailed a few weeks ago, will be coming to the Xoom “within days.”

These ISPs have been working on an agreement with media companies more closely with piracy. Rather than just receiving a warning in the mail you could receive throttled bandwidth or limited access to the Internet.

While the television clips found on the platform definitely vary in quality, YouTube is definitely one website you want to search for when you’re looking to relive a favorite television moment.

Intel Cloud In A Box – World’s Smallest Cloud Data Center

Billing it as “the world’s smallest data center”, Intel’s cloud technology demonstrator is basically two 1U servers in a package that fits into a common rolling suitcase.

Designed to show that Intel is already powering the cloud with its Xeon processors, the technology demonstration is also meant to highlight Intel’s other efforts to bring their Cloud 2015 vision to reality.

Ultimate Technology For Reading Minds

Researchers monitoring brain activity can now determine what action a person is planning before he carries it out.

Although it is currently only possible to know what someone is going to do just moments before it happens, the implications of the breakthrough are huge. Police, for example, would love to know what a criminal is intending to do during a tense armed stand-off.
