MSI Launching GT683DX Gaming Notebook

MSI has just unveiled it’s latest GT683DX Gaming Notebook featuring Intel’s second generation Core i7-2630QM quad core processor and nVidia’s latest GeForce GTX 570M (1.5GB GDDR5 display memory) graphics card.

It also features an accelerated dual hard disk architecture and 4 DDR3 memory slots. In addition it also has Dynaudio and THX TruStudio Pro smart wrap around sound which produce a clean and crisp realistic stereo sound.

MSI Announces CX480 i5 Laptop

MSI has just unleashed its CX480 laptop. The 14″ device has a beautiful brushed metal exterior and was originally shown at Computex a couple weeks ago. The base model starts out with an Intel Core i3 or Core i5 processor, nice start.

Other features include a 1GB graphics card, known as the Nvidia GeForce 520M. Weighing in at five pounds, the laptop has your basic HDMI and VGA out, a six sell battery, and an optional USB 3.0 port.

Oversee Desktop Performance From Your Phone

Graphics card and motherboard manufacturer, MSI, has coupled with a software programmer named Nick Connors to create a version of the Afterburner overclocking program for the Android operating system. With the awesome new app, users will be able to fine tune their processing settings on and desktop or laptop over a shared WiFi connection.

Of things that can be tweaked and tuned include; frequency, temperature, voltage, and fan speed. In order to get everything set up, the user must first install the appropriate software (Afterburner program) on the host PC before anything can be modified.

Nvidia Analyst Pleads Guilty To Insider Trading

Former Nvidia financial analyst and 39 year old Sonny Nguyen pleaded guilty today to a criminal charge. Nguyen pleaded guilty to tipping a former Global Research consultant about Nvidia’s quarterly financial results before they were announced to the public. He claimed to have done this both in 2007 and 2008. Nguyen was released on a $100,000 bond but is expected to testify at the trial.

He is among at least 14 people who have been charged in the investigation and pleaded guilty to a charge of conspiracy to commit wire fraud and securities fraud. I suppose Nguyen was looking for a lighter sentence by pleading guilty and spilling the beans. He said,
