LG Optimus 3D Takes The U.K. By Storm

The LG Optimus has just taken the United Kingdom by storm, leaving many excited to own this slender piece of technology. The world’s first 3D smartphone will be available for £454.80 for the unlocked/SIM-free model.

Featuring a 4.3″ capacitive touchscreen, and a robust dual-core Texas Instruments processor, the phone boasts of speeds equivalent to 1GHz. The 3D video capture is made possible through two 5MP cameras.

Dell Works On i5 Windows Tablet W/ Full HD

We’ve just got word that Dell may be working on a new tablet, this time of Windows-flavor. The company had previously released the Dell Streak, and more recently, the Dell Streak Pro, which both ran on Google’s Android operating system.

The idea of a Windows tablet may seem exciting to some, but many have already abandoned the idea of owning a Dell tablet, after many reports of a weak battery life and general underperformance from the company.

While rumors and speculation still surround Apple’s next generation iPhone handset – the iPhone 4S or the iPhone 5, depending on whom you believe – other cell phone manufacturers continue to develop newer, faster handsets to compete in the marketplace.

MSI Announces CX480 i5 Laptop

MSI has just unleashed its CX480 laptop. The 14″ device has a beautiful brushed metal exterior and was originally shown at Computex a couple weeks ago. The base model starts out with an Intel Core i3 or Core i5 processor, nice start.

Other features include a 1GB graphics card, known as the Nvidia GeForce 520M. Weighing in at five pounds, the laptop has your basic HDMI and VGA out, a six sell battery, and an optional USB 3.0 port.

LG Announces The Most Advanced And Sharpest Personal 3D HDTV

LG announced its next generation DM50D monitor, which includes all the advantages found on LG’s game-changing CINEMA 3D TVs in a form factor that fits easily on a desktop.

The flicker-free, bright images and lightweight 3D glasses that customers have come to associate with CINEMA 3D can all be found on the DM50D, including Full HDTV.

New Snapdragon-Powered Sharp Smartphone- LEAKED!

It looks like Sharp is working on another Android smartphone, with the model number SH8188U representing it. No clue on how large the screen is on this slate, and it will be running Android 2.2 Froyo, telling us that we don’t deserve Gingerbread? But what about the holidays?

In either case, it will have WiFi, HDMI output, and HD video recording via the 5MP camera. The device will be fueled by a roaring 1GHz Snapdragon processor.

Game On The Run With The G155

Sometimes, we are forced to go to unexpected business meetings, trips, or weddings, and we wish we could bring our video game console. I realize that there are Sony and Nintendo handheld gaming systems, but sometimes they just don’t do justice when we are looking for an immersive experience.

Sony Introduces New 3D Projector

Sony has recently shown us a new projector, the VPL-HW30ES 3D Projector (pictured top), that includes Sony’s latest lamp technology, a dynamic lamp control system, that has been designed to provide home movie fans with an “unrivaled 3D cinematic experience.”

The new 3D projector utilizes Sony’s proprietary High Frame Rate SXRD Panel, rocking a 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution and mastering a 70,000:1 contrast ratio, providing a brightness rating of 1,300lm.

Dell Streak Pro 10 Features A Trackpad?

The Dell Streak 10 Pro was covered way back when we first got news of the device. Today, we come supplied with pictures to back the text. For those of you who may have forgotten, the 10″ tablet will feature a 1280 x 800 display, a 5MP rear camera, and run Nvidia’s Tegra 2 processor.

With a front-facing camera embedded, video conferences can be made with ease. There is an SD card slot for all your data storage, and HDMI port, USB, and the device offers full 1080 support. The tablet weighs in at 700 grams and will come with an optional dock with HDMI, USB host, Ethernet port, and other functions for business use.
