Meet The All-New, Panasonic Lumix DMC-LS5

Panasonic has unveiled its LUMIX DMC-LS5 digital camera featuring a 14.1Mp, 26mm wide angle, 5x optical zoom lens. This is an entry level camera with top quality features such as HD video recording and 26mm wide angle lens. Owing to its O.I.S feature, the camera is capable of taking crisp pictures even in dim-light situations and has the capability to capture a 720p high definition video.

The camera gets its power from AA batteries which is a little weird as AA batteries don’t last long. However, Panasonic has tried to justify this change by stating that they are aware of the consumers’ different requirements and preferences.

LG yesterday launched Optimus 3D in South Korea. The launch was accompanied by the announcement of 17 Stereoscopic 3D games for the smartphone from Gameloft.

Three of these games Asphalt 6: Adrenaline, N.O.V.A. — Near Orbit Vanguard Alliance and Let’s Golf 2 will come pre-loaded on Korean LG Optimus 3D, while the rest will be available for purchase directly from the smartphone.

Game On The Run With The G155

Sometimes, we are forced to go to unexpected business meetings, trips, or weddings, and we wish we could bring our video game console. I realize that there are Sony and Nintendo handheld gaming systems, but sometimes they just don’t do justice when we are looking for an immersive experience.

The G155 is a protective shell that was specifically designed to house a PS3 or Xbox360. Embedded within the shell is a 15.5″ LED hi-def display with HDMI input that lets you enjoy gaming in a bulky laptop experience.

Acer Updates It’s Awesome TimelineX Notebooks

Most Powerful Tablet: Intel Core i7 + 8GB RAM + 320GB HDD

Who the heck cares about Windows 8 running on a tablet PC when you’ve got a tablet that is more powerful than most desktops out on the market? Meet the Sahara Slate PC i500 from Tablet Kiosk. This is the James Bond of all tablets, people. Running an Intel Core i7-640LM vPro at 2.13GHz, this puppy maxes out at 2.93GHz, while using 25 watts.

The twelve inch tablet features 8GB of RAM and has 320GB of storage space, allowing you to store a large number of HD videos, high res photos, or whatever you want to keep on there!

24″ LED Monitor, Powered 100% By USB

Asus has recently demonstrated a USB-powered monitor, the MS248B, which was meant to replace the current MS248H USB-powered monitor. For a recent monitor, it has a very interesting feature, it only carries a single USB port that is placed to transmit both power and data from the computer to the monitor.

Fortunately, the single USB port utilizes the latest USB 3.0 technology, which allows up to 80% more power to be transferred to the monitor (something I would assume is essential to power a 24″ screen).

Full HD On A 4.8″ Screen- Check It Out

Samsung and LG are working in consortium to pack extra pixels into tablet-sized screens for a very high-density pixel ratio. Last year, Ortus Technologies demonstrated a 4.8-inch Full HD LCD that was able to manage a 1920 x 1080 458ppi into a panel that provided images far sharper than iPhone 4’s Retina Display. Ortus Technologies is back to show us the upgraded display in 3D.

The new display uses an Arisawa Xpol polarizer film that splits the image into a set of left eye images and a set of right eye images. The viewer gives up some vertical resolution in exchange…

HP Introduces 3 Hot New Laptops

It looks like HP is rolling out new products left and right. After just announcing the company’s ultrathin display and new flexible data plan, it seems like HP has just a few more tricks up its sleeve. The first of HPs new notebooks is the HP ProBook 5330m which was built to be used by business professionals and comes with a 13.3″ HD display, and gives users a choice between Intel Core i3 or Core i5 processors.

Clearly, portability is key in this model and HP realizes that a netbook is not the solution for intense work-related computing. Consumers will be able to purchase this aluminum notebook with a backlit keyboard, immediately.

Think 3G, Then Multiply That 40 Times: LTE Advanced

The South Korean Electronics and Telecommunications Research Institute claims that they (South Korea) has created the strongest and fastest 4G network in the world. Their new technology, called LTE Advanced, runs 40 times faster than current 3G networks. What does LTE Advanced let you achieve? Users will be able to enjoy streaming HD videos to their mobile devices as well as being able to play 3D games without lag. What would normally take 6 minutes to download on 3G will take about 9 seconds to download on LTE Advanced. It is truly the technology of the future, and I cannot wait till we get LTE Advanced support in the United States. If we can have more power, why not? The best part of this new LTE Advanced technology is that it will work with existing 2G and 3G networks. Now for the catch:
