It looks like those leaked photos we posted yesterday, did offer a shred of evidence about a MacBook Air upgrade.

Not only will the new MacBook Airs carry the latest Intel Core i5 and Core i7 processors but both will support the razor fast Thunderbolt technology, capable of data transfers as fast as 10Gbps.

MSI Announces CX480 i5 Laptop

MSI has just unleashed its CX480 laptop. The 14″ device has a beautiful brushed metal exterior and was originally shown at Computex a couple weeks ago. The base model starts out with an Intel Core i3 or Core i5 processor, nice start.

Other features include a 1GB graphics card, known as the Nvidia GeForce 520M. Weighing in at five pounds, the laptop has your basic HDMI and VGA out, a six sell battery, and an optional USB 3.0 port.

Sony VAIO Z Series- Bringing Sexy Back

Sony’s all-new laptop reminds us what we know and love about laptops- their sleek and slender nature, coupled with high performacne. The 13.1″ VAIO Z features Intel’s Light Peak technology, being the first non-Apple device to do so.

Powered by an AMD Radeon HD 6650M graphics card, it has the standard HDMI and VGA out as well as an optical drive that plays the latest Blu-Ray videos. The laptop itself weighs in at 3 pounds and features a blazing fast Intel Core i7-2620M processor, clocked at 2.7GHz with 8GB of DDR3 RAM.

MSI G-Series Gets An Upgrade!

MSI is launching at full speed at Computex and has just introduced some new tweaks to their G-Series gaming notebooks. The new GT780, GT863, and GE620 will each feature Intel’s second generation Core i7 quad core processors. The GT780 and GT683 each feature 16GB of DDR3 memory and Nvidia GeForce GTX 560M graphics with 1.5GB of VRAM.

The laptops will come with accelerated dual solid-state drive architecture, offering users access to their most important files at three times the speed of traditional hard drives. Make no mistake that this is a gaming machine, and hence, it comes with a state-of-the-art gaming keyboard.

HP Unleashes Shiny New Pavilion Notebooks

Hewlett-Packard quietly unleashed its new lineup up shiny Pavilion notebooks. The new notebooks feature Intel’s latest and greatest, Sandy Bridge processors. The new laptop is called the Pavilion G6S and features a vibrant but classy color and contains a 15.6″ (1366 by 768 resolution) and gives consumers a choice between the Core i3, Core i5, or Core i7 processors.

HP Introduces 3 Hot New Laptops

It looks like HP is rolling out new products left and right. After just announcing the company’s ultrathin display and new flexible data plan, it seems like HP has just a few more tricks up its sleeve. The first of HPs new notebooks is the HP ProBook 5330m which was built to be used by business professionals and comes with a 13.3″ HD display, and gives users a choice between Intel Core i3 or Core i5 processors.

Clearly, portability is key in this model and HP realizes that a netbook is not the solution for intense work-related computing. Consumers will be able to purchase this aluminum notebook with a backlit keyboard, immediately.

Intel’s New Hexa-Core 3.6GHz i7-995X Extreme Edition

We just got word that Intel will be releasing the first of the 32-nanometer Atom processors on August 1st of this year. Coming a little sooner on June 26th is the hexa-core (six core) i7-980. Intel will also release a glitch-free Intel 6-series chipset, the Z68 on May 11th. How was this information obtained? Gaming Laptop With 4.5GHz CPU And 32GB Of RAM?

If you’ve ever wanted a roaring computer in the form factor of a laptop, this one is for you. ORIGIN PC is introducing the EON17-S mobile gaming computer. The EON17-S has a roaring (Intel Extreme Edition Core i7-2920XM 4.0-4.5 GHz with Turbo Boost, 8MB Cache) processor.

The graphics options are plentiful. Buyers will have the option of getting a Nvidia GTX 460M, 470M, 485M, as well as an AMD HD6970M. Users can also opt to have as much as 32GB of RAM installed in the laptop.

MacBook Air To Get New Intel Processor

According to TheTechJournal, Intel plans to launch its ultra low voltage Sandy Bridge CPU for the next generation MacBook Air. The new processors would replace the current core i7 680UM version which comes as a 1.46GHz clock speed, giving a maximum of 2.53GHz through turbo boost. While this upgrade isn’t a major one, the 1.46GHz will be raised to 1.6GHz and the turbo boost will be raised nearly 200MHz to 2.7GHz with the Sandy Bridge in place.
