Windows Mango Update Has 500 New Features

Microsoft Steve Ballmer may have dropped the ball at a recent presentation for Japan’s Microsoft Developer Forum. Ballmer claims that the new Mango update for Windows Phone 7 would carry over 500 new features and will run on flashier hardware than current Windows Phones. Some industry tips claim that as many as nine new Windows devices may come, including those from major manufacturers.

Acer will be showing off two new Windows phones later this year, Dell will have one called the Wrigley, and the HTC would have at least two devices as well.

With Internet Explorer 10 just three weeks into development, we cannot view a complete interface yet but we are likely to see fast releases of preview version before it comes out in beta, and obviously before it ships. Although Microsoft hasn’t yet given a final release date,

Internet Explorer 9 Out of Beta on March 14th

The final version of Internet Explorer 9 is launching on March 14, in time for a party at the South by Southwest conference in Austin, Texas.

The new design takes on a minimalist approach which gives the user more browsing room and places browser tabs in a single strip alongside the omnibar. Microsoft also added a download manager and support for HTML5 video. The new browser is apparently winning over critics for being significantly faster and more user friendly.
