Survey Depicts Popularity Of iPhone 5

So far, Apple has not given any clue regarding the release of its new iPhone 5 except what we have from anonymous resources. Even at the Worldwide Developers Conference held in June, Apple remained silent regarding the rumors about the new device.

However, this new iPhone is widely anticipated by the US as well as international consumers. A survey was conducted by PriceGrabbar recently, which showed people’s interest in the new i-device. According to a CNET report, 35% of US consumers are willing to buy the new iPhone after its release. The study in which about 2852 people participated, was conducted in early July.

iPhone 5 May Be Hitting Us This Fall, Afterall

For the past few months there have been rumors regarding the release of Apple’s new iPhone device. Because of some initial problems faced by the previous iPhone 4, people had been eagerly waiting for a new fault free and upgraded iPhone.

The news on the internet lately had been that Apple would release a slightly enhanced and cheaper version of iPhone 4 known as iPhone 4S sometimes in August or September and the fully features iPhone 5 device in January.

Designer Michal Bonikowski believes he knows what the iPhone 5 will look like, similar to the current model, but sleeker with an edge to edge screen. His conceptual version includes a glass face enclosed in an aluminum bumper.

iPhone 5 Rumored To Get Dual LED Flash

Recent market rumors have stated that the iPhone 5 from Apple is likely to come with a dual-LED flash. The top candidates for the dual LED are Everlight Electronics, Edison Opto, and Lite-On Technology.

The rumors had begun when reports about Apple indicated that it had reduced its orders for the production of Lumileds high-power LED flash products from Philips and switched orders for LED flashes to Waiwan makers.

iPhone 4S Coming This Year, iPhone 5 Due Next Year?

A rumor has been circulating around the Internet today, and don’t worry it’s not one of those ‘vicious’ types. The rumor is that the next-generation iPhone will contain curved glass. According to industry sources, Apple has purchased between 200 and 300 glass cutting machines for the production of the curved covers.

Since glass cutting machines are typically expensive, we can bet that Apple is going to use this to give the iPhone a fresh new look.
