New LinkedIn Button Allows For One-Click Job Applications

Linkedin is launching a new feature that will make job applications much easier on the professional job networking site. The update will be available later this month and will allow users to “Apply with Linkedin” directly to job postings. Basically, this will be a plugin that will allow users to quickly apply to job postings without having to re-type their work history.

Linkedin is currently partnering up with a number of employers to ensure a smooth service.

Apple Does Not Track Movements, Android Does

According to Steve Jobs, Apple does not use any of the location data that is stored on an individual’s iPad or iPhone. Apparently the configuration file that was recently discovered is a bug and the info collected within that database file is stored on the device itself. When an iPhone user recently threatened Jobs that he would switch to an Android phone, Jobs claimed “we don’t track anyone, [Android] does.” I assume some worried consumers contacted Google because they recently admitted that they in fact do track Android users, but they do so anonymously.

A Google spokesman explained that Google tracks users’ movements to provide customized services such as maps, improved search results for nearby shops or restaurants, and to study traffic on various roads.

Introducing The Apple iPod, Without Wires?

According to CultofMac, Apple is working on a way to synchronize iPods and iTunes wirelessly. Steve Jobs is working hard to ensure that the next generation of Apple products will be wireless, at least for the iPod. Instead of importing music, movies, and apps manually through wires, the iPods will auto-sync with your iTunes whenever it is connected to your WiFi network. I will admit this is cool only because it makes iPods easier to use, especially for people who aren’t as computer friend as others.
