Itunes Extends Song Preview To 90 Seconds

Apple’s iTunes store is the one of the biggest providers of music content for PCs and i-Devices. To facilitate the consumer, Apple has upgraded their system of song preview.

iTunes previously allowed a user to preview the tune for about 30 seconds before the user actually bought that tune. Other such service providers such as Amazon also allowed a preview of 30 seconds but looks like Apple has decided to go a step ahead of Amazon.

Gmail Updated Version For Android

Google has released the latest version 2.3.5 of Gmail for Android phones. The previous application just redirected your mails from Gmail to your Android phones. But this new version has some marvellous updates.

One of the best features of this new version is the selection of specific labels. You can label a specific sender which will allow you to get a notification only when that labelled user has sent you a mail. In short, you won’t be bothered by getting a notification every time you receive an email on Gmail.

Verizon Will Put Location Tracking Stickers On Phones

Verizon is responding to the concerns of many worried individuals in Congress. In a response to Massachusetts Congressman Ed Markey, Verizon has said that they will put a sticker on every phone warning users that they tracked their locations. The removable screen notice would specifically mention that the wireless carriers associated the location data with customer information. Subscribers would then be asked to check their location settings if they were concerned and to be “cautious” when it came to allowing privileges for specific applications.
