World’s Smallest Battery

Research at Rice University has proved that the work done by Lithium-Ion batteries can also be done with very tiny batteries, which Rice University just produced.

The researchers have packed the energy produced by an entire Lithium-Ion battery into a small nanowire. This battery is 6 times thinner than a bacterium, 100 times thinner than a human hair and 60,000 times smaller than a AAA batttery.

Tesla Model S Electric Car Steps In Beta Production Stage

Earlier this year, Tesla reported to only have the prototype of their latest Tesla Model S all-electric vehicle. They hope their new Tesla Model S electric vehicle will be capturing the attention of many people.

Tesla Model S has stepped in the Beta production stage. It is a big car which has the capacity to seat 4 adults. It has a price tag of $49,900 which is cheaper than the previous Tesla Roadster.

Leyden Energy Building Long Life Battery

With the increasing specifications and applications, cell phones now-a-days need more power to operate than they did before. Although the chip performance is doubling every 18 months, as described by Moore’s Law, no one seems that concerned about the battery improvement.

Leyden Energy hopes to produce new batteries with a longer lifetime. They are working on a new battery chemistry that will allow batteries to operate 25 percent longer with a single charge and can be used for 3 years. While the other batteries fade out after an year.

Yill, Your Futuristic Energy Solution

Energy transportation is a stern matter. However it seems like Younicos, a company that specializes in storage units and renewable energy stations, has came up with the solution, perhaps the best possible one.

The Yill appears like a contemporary designer luggage although there is no space for archetypal clothes here
