US Shares Spectrum With Mexico And Canada’s Borders

Spectrum sharing helps maintain the wireless network and keep it in a good state by shifting the excess users to the shared spectrum. Couple this with the fact that the US government is quite eager to provide 4G facilities near border areas, and you’ve got yourself a partnership with neighboring countries.

To achieve this goal, The Federal Communications Commission made a deal with Mexico and Canada for sharing certain wireless band spectrums. The FCC has not disclosed many details regarding the deal. However, the deal with the Canadian industry involves the sharing of commercial spectrum in 700 megahertz and 800 MHz bands.

Will Apple Create Bluetooth 4?

One of the best features of LTE technology is the freedom it gives users to carry out little communication tasks such as data transfer and transaction making.

Lately, Apple had shown some interest in this technology and it was expected that Apple may adopt this technology widely in all of its upcoming devices for near field communications.

Now, don’t get me wrong here, I do not condone hacks, but there has been a huge leak from telecom giant AT&T and I had to post it.

Of the latest hacks to be leaked before LulzSec decided to “throw in the towel“, it appears that AT&T plans on rolling out out an iPad with LTE (the ultra fast Internet successor to 3G).

Tegra 2 Processors Handle LTE Just Fine

There have been a lot of rumors going around that Nvidia’s new Tegra 2 chips do not support LTE devices that have been arriving on the market. I suppose Nvidia was tired of all the hear-say and made a statement, specifically on the phone with Droid-Life.

Nvidia stated that Tegra has no compatibility issues with Long Term Evolution, and that the Tegra-powered Samsung Galaxy Tab 4G LTE tablet runes on Verizon’s LTE network, making it a perfect example of the happy compatibility between the two platforms.

Verizon’s Wireless 4G LTE network is relatively new, receiving a fresh start just six months ago, the network is still quite fast for those just starting out with Verizon. If you’re looking to join the fun, I recommend checking out the Novatel Wireless E362 as an exceptional internal LTE modem.

If your laptop isn’t already equipped with a WiFi card, or even if it is, you’ll still be able to upgrade to Verizon’s speedy 4G LTE by popping this bad boy in.
