Creative Announces New MP3 Player

Creative has announced today that it will be releasing a new Creative Zen mp3 player. The new M300 media player will feature wireless connectivity and Bluetooth 2.1, allowing users to enjoy their music wirelessly through a set of Bluetooth headphones. The M300 will also feature a microSD Card slot and is capable of having up to 32GB in additional music from built-in memory.

The device comes with an FM radio as do most Zen mp3 players and allows the user to preset up to 32 stations.

Apple’s Cloud Music Platform, Coming Soon!

Apple sources have recently reported that it will soon release an online music storage cloud-based service. The launch is expected to arrive before Google’s version of cloud-based solutions. With Apple’s new online storage system, iTunes users will be able to store music on a remote server while given the rights to access their songs from different devices. Although Apple hasn’t yet signed any licenses with record labels regarding this service, many are eager to begin the talks.

128GB Smartphones Coming Later This Year?

Toshiba has recently revealed a 19 nanometer NAND flash memory which leads to some very promising results in the wireless industry. Such a small chip would lead to a high capacity smartphone or tablet. The ultra small size allows 16 chips to be stacked one upon the other, at 8GB per chip and two bits per cell. If you do the math, 8GB multiplied by 16 equals 128GB.

This technology can even lead to three-bits-per cell stacking for future developments. Even though the technology is brand new, it is already being handed out to companies through test samples…

KLL is a new feature that will launch later this year, letting Kindle customers borrow books from over 11,000 libraries in the United States, digitally. Nokia Sues Apple For 46 Patents

Nokia has claimed that it filed a second patent infringement against Apple with the U.S. International Trade Commission. The claim accuses Apple of violating multiple Nokia patents in Apple’s iPod, iPhone, Macs, and iPads.

Nokia says that seven of their patents have been violated in areas of multi-tasking operating systems, data synchronization, positioning, call quality, and use of Bluetooth accessories. Interestingly enough, Nokia had previously filed a claim against Apple which was found by the ITC to be…
