iOS 5 Beta 4 Gets Jailbroken

The much awaited release of iOS 5 is now over, at least for iOS developers. A few hours back Apple released the beta 4 version of the much awaited iOS 5 to developers.

But guess what? Just a few hours after the release of this operating system, the hacker community has found a way to jailbreak this OS. Marvelous and very fast indeed.

Kisai Kaidoku: A New Way To Tell Time

A new unique watch has just been unveiled by Tokyoflash Japan, and it’s called the Kisai Kaidoku. Submitted to the Tokyoflash Design Studio Blog by a 15 year-old kid from Canada (Tynan Mayhew), it’s the second fan-submitted watch design to make it from concept to execution.

The LCD stainless steel watch displays the date and time using flashing words. Although the watch can let a child get away without learning how to read a traditional clock, we recommend getting your son a regular wrist watch for his birthday.

Modern Warfare 3 Coming Nov. 8th, 2011

We finally have an official release date for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3. It looks like this awesome new first person shooter will hit stores on November 8th of this year and will be the official cross platform release date. Amazon is already accepting pre-orders if you’re interested in the graphics intensive game. Modern Warfare 3 is supposed to succeed in every part where its Black Ops counterpart had failed when it was released in November of 2010.

Panasonic Lumix G3 Comes Out Today

Panasonic will officially reveal its G3 Micro Four Thirds camera today. The camera is expected to be 25% smaller and get a 15.8MP sensor. The camera will feature an ultra-fast autofocus and have a maximum sensitivity of ISO 6400; we are not yet sure if this will get the improved light performance of the GH2. The camera is expected to record beautiful 1080p video and manage continuous 4FPS for action photos.

Dell Streak Pro On Its Way!

Google announced Android 3.1 at Google I/O yesterday. The new Android will offer fixes such as native USB hosting, speed improvements, and is expected to come out on tablets in the near future. Luckily, Dell is already testing the next version of Android on the Dell Streak Pro, the next flavor of the Dell Streak that is due in mid June. All we know at the moment is that the new Dell Streak will be 10-inch tablet, with Android and a display resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels.

Dell Venue Pro Available With AT&T Too!

The Dell Venue Pro was previously only available through one wireless carrier, T-Mobile. It looks like things have changed a bit and Dell has partnered up with AT&T to bring the shiny device to AT&T customers throughout the nation. $99 is all it takes to own this piece of equipment, that is, when you sign up for a two-year contract with the telecommunications giant.

The base model has 8GB of storage, but users can opt to pay $149 for the 16GB or $199 for the 32GB model.

Introducing A Paper-Thin Cell Phone/Media Player

In the next five years, all phones could be as thin as a single sheet of paper, according Canadian scientists who have recently revealed a prototype at a conference in Vancouver this week. The prototype is called the PaperPhone, and can store books, play music, and of course, make phone calls. The display consists of a 9.5 cm diagonal thin film flexible E Ink display. It does not use power when not in use.

Sony Bloggie 3D- Get It While It’s Hot!

At the Consumer Electronics Show 2011, the Sony Bloggie 3D camera was revealed. The camera was designed to be in the price range of ordinary film shooters, at $249.99, users can shoot 3D videos at 1080p and take 3D still shots at 5MP. It has an Exmor-CMOS sensor that ensures you get the clearest shot, even in low light conditions. The camera can capture photos while you’re shooting video at the same time, which I think is the coolest feature. The camera comes with a 2.4″ 3D display that doesn’t require special 3D glasses to view.

Motorola Droid X2 (Specs And Photos Leaked!)

If you haven’t heard about the Droid X2 yet, this will be one impressive phone. The device will carry a beautiful 4.3-inch touch screen with a better resolution than the previous Droid. The resolution will be set at 540 x 960 pixels which will make videos look a lot cleaner.
