Electronics manufacturer, Huawei, has just unveiled its 7″ MediaPad tablet, being the first to run the new Android Ice Cream Sandwich operating system. The major difference between this version of Android, and previous versions of Android is that Ice Cream Sandwich is designed to work on smaller tablet devices as well.
The MediaPad is powered by a 1.2GHz dual-core Snapdragon processor and contains a high pixel density display. While the Motorola Xoom currently has the title for highest pixel density at 160ppi (pixels per ince), the new Huawei MediaPad has a pixel density of 217ppi. Just for reference, the iPad 2 only has a paltry 132ppi.
