IE Users Angry Over Accusation Of Having Low IQ

AptiQuant is the research firm behind the survey from which they inferred that Internet Explorer users are usually dumb and have low IQ levels when compared to Chrome, Mozilla or Safari users.

This is a highly profane statement regarding IE users which have led them to a fury against the consulting company. Since the release of study results, IE users have threatened to file a law suit against the company and have sent hate mails to the company. The company performed more than 100,000 IQ tests and compiled the results on the bases of browser a user used.

Google Tells Users To Use Outdated Browsers

Google told Chrome users earlier in the week to switch to outdated versions of Internet Explorer or Mozilla Firefox if they want to access Gmail when they are not connected to the web. On Tuesday, Google dropped offline support for Chrome, IE9, Firefox 4, Safari, and Opera. What’s the big reason? Google’s conversion to HTML5 this summer.

The new 5HTML web application was created to bring the Chrome web Tweetdeck app to other web platforms. The application is built on the same core as Chrome Tweetdeck, on the same user interface, and contains many of the same features.

Although the fix only covers its Chrome Web browser, we think it’s cool that Google took matters into their own hands. For those using Firefox or Opera, they will have to wait until Adobe releases an official patch (which is expected to be sometime this week.) The Flash player bug was first mentioned last week after infected flash files(.swf) which were embedded in Excel documents(.xls), had shown up in e-mail inboxes. When recipients tried to open the file…
