Windows 8 Pulls Elements From Mobile Operating Systems

After the dominion of smart phones, Desktops have lost their charm. Why work at home on a desktop when one can pull off all the tasks from their phone?

The new operating system for Apple’s desktops and laptops OS X Lion and the modernized and restored serviceable version of windows which has yet to be released by Microsoft i.e. Windows 8 is noted to have inherited traits from the mobile operating system of the respective giants.

Mozilla Assembly Line: Firefox 6 And Firefox 7 Almost Here

This is possibly the most embarrassing bit of news I had to deliver. Let me explain why. Firefox has seem to gone downhill ever since Firefox 4 was released. Although I haven’t had many problems on 32-bit operating systems, I have tons of problems on 64-bit operating systems- having the browser crash about 5 times per week.

The mobile version isn’t too good either, and received immediate negative feedback when Firefox 4 was launched for the mobile platform.

Meet The First Google Chrome Desktop

By now, most of you have heard about Google Chrome and its debut as a chromebook. Google Chrome is an operating system that is cloud-based, meaning that all your data and files are stored on the Internet, in a database. Since Google realized that most people mainly use the internet with their computers, they designed an entire operating system around the Google Chrome web browser, and you get Chrome OS. Chrome OS is an open-source project (anyone can edit) and was originally called Chromium.
