The New Samsung Galaxy R

Samsung’s Galaxy lineup is expanding really fast, and there has been another addition to the row with the launching of Galaxy R. The phone is shipped to the UK and it has many matching functions with the well-liked Samsung Galay S II.

The Samsung Galaxy, features a smaller display than the Galaxy S II. Although the display measures 4.2 inches, it features the same 480 x 800 pixel resolution as Galaxy S II. The Display is also said to be a Super LCD display rather than a Super AMOLED display on the S II.

The lope of introducing new Hi-tech phones and gadgets seems never-ending and LG never wants to be left behind. So, LG made its new Android smart phones public.

The LG Optimus Pro is made official and it brought alongside, the new LG Optimus Net. These Android phones are the finest addition to the ever expanding Optimus family.

LG Optimus 3D Launched In Korea

LG yesterday launched Optimus 3D in South Korea. The launch was accompanied by the announcement of 17 Stereoscopic 3D games for the smartphone from Gameloft.

Three of these games Asphalt 6: Adrenaline, N.O.V.A. — Near Orbit Vanguard Alliance and Let’s Golf 2 will come pre-loaded on Korean LG Optimus 3D, while the rest will be available for purchase directly from the smartphone.

Thrill 4G With Wikitude 3D Browser

It looks like the highly awaited HTC EVO 3D is going to be having some heavy competition this year. LG Electronics and Wikitude have just announced that the LG Optimus 3D (seen at the MWC) will be named the Thrill 4G for AT&T and will be coupled with Wikitude’s 3D browser. The Wikitude 3D browser allows for better interaction and engagement in real-time user environments.

LG Announces Company’s Strong Quarter

LG has recently come forth to say that it has turned a new corner with the sales of flat panels and operating profits up. The company believes that an aggressive product line-up in televisions will continue to fuel profits. The company saw its first operating profit in early of 2010. LG feels confident that the Cinema 3D TV range and its Smart TVs will be the driving force of product sales.

The company has seen success, largely due to its cost-cutting efforts and are currently in a 73.1 million USD profit in the first quarter.

LG Optimus Big Due In April

A few months ago, LG showed us the Optimus Black, and next in the lineup appears to be the Optimus Big. The name comes from the 4.3″ screen, and will be available in Korea this April. When everyone else will get it is unclear. Like the Optimus Black, the Big uses a NOVA panel which uses 50% less power than a normal LCD screen, but still shows displays at 700nits brightness–which is excellent. Hooray for green technology!
