Panasonic Reveals The World’s Lightest 3D Glasses

Everybody is so into 3D nowadays. Watching 3D movies, Playing 3D games, this is the new hype, and whether you’re on board or not with the 3D revolution, it’s still here.

For 3D viewing purposes, either 3D glasses or a LED TV with 3D capable LED display is used. Although 3D glasses are not a new thing, folks have been looking to see something extremely lightweight so that the user doesn’t feel like he is wearing glasses. So here comes Panasonic with its TY-EW3D series.

Panasonic Introduces Rugged Toughbook Tablet

Panasonic is adding a tablet to its Toughbook series, a 10.1″ XGA daylight-viewable tablet, to be specific. The tablet will fit a perfect hole in the tablet realm as it is the first and only rugged enterprise tablet designed with enhanced security, functionality, and with reliability, in mind.

The 3G tablet has a built-in GPS feature and offers mobile broadband connectivity, giving you full access to the apps you want and need when you’re computing on the run. Panasonic has kept hush on pricing thus far, but you can expect the tablet to be about $100 over the average price of tablets, being that it is rugged.

Panasonic Lumix GF3 Coming Soon!

Panasonic has just revealed the smallest of its Lumix G camera along with its new GF3 interchangeable lens. The camera has a 12.1MP Live MOS sensor and runs on a Venus Engine VII HD images processor. The GF3 earns the title for capturing DSLR-like image quality in its small and compact design.

The new GF3 is 17% smaller and 16% lighter than the Lumix GF2 which should be noticeable on those long photo shoot days. Users will be able to capture Full HD video recording with full time AF Tracking. The camera has a 3″ touchscreen display, showing a 460K dot LCD.

Panasonic Camcorders Come Back To Life

Panasonic has resurrected its Sanyo Xacti with the same specifications as the original models, with a few tweaks here and there. The first model is called the HX-WA10 and is pretty much a replica of Sanyo’s Xacti Waterproof DMX-CA100 /VPC-CA100, except this time it has a 16MP sensor.

Panasonic Lumix G3 Comes Out Today

Panasonic will officially reveal its G3 Micro Four Thirds camera today. The camera is expected to be 25% smaller and get a 15.8MP sensor. The camera will feature an ultra-fast autofocus and have a maximum sensitivity of ISO 6400; we are not yet sure if this will get the improved light performance of the GH2. The camera is expected to record beautiful 1080p video and manage continuous 4FPS for action photos.

Introducing Panasonic’s Toughbook 53

Panasonic announced this morning that it will be delivering the Toughbook 53, the big brother from the Toughbook 52. Instead of a 15.4-inch screen, the T53 will sport a 14-inch display. The T53 will also be significantly lighter than the T52’s 7.2 pounds, weighing in at 5.6 pounds. The T53 was designed for vehicle-mounting and will ship with 4G LTE which will supply the iron-strength notebook with the speed needed for today’s computing.

Panasonic Announces 2 New 3D Blu-ray Players

Panasonic has just announced two new 3D Blu-ray disc players coming to UK stores. Both Blu-ray players have Freeview + HD built-in and will be optimized for next-generation home entertainment. The two models, named DMR-BWT800 and DMR-BWT700 each carry twin tuners on board, as well as full 5.1-channel surround sound with the option of displaying 3D content, as previously mentioned.

The devices are Viera Cast enabled and users will be able to connect through an SD slot, and able to plug in their AVCHD content directly into the players.

With Panasonic’s VIERA AR Setup Simulator, users simply use their cell phone to place the AR marker on the spot where they want the TV to be and then look at it through the iPhone’s camera.

Enjoy All Your Tech, Web, And Video From The Air

Virgin Atlantic and Panasonic Avionics have teamed up to deliver Internet access to in-flight passengers. The deal will cost over $70 million and will combine Panasonic’s eX2 in-flight entertainment and eXPhone products into Virgin Atlantic’s A330 planes. While this is specifically for the A330 plane, other aircraft will be added in time. The deal allows passengers to place calls, send and receive text messages as well as access e-mail via their own smartphones and mobile devices.

Panasonic Avionics will use GSM phone partner AeroMobile to provide the network. The eX3 system brought by Panasonic will also allow passengers to rate the onboard films, and read comments and reviews. To make flying a little easier, passengers will be given the option to search over 300 hours of movies, music, and TV shows and save a playlist…
