Mozilla Plans New Operating System

There is currently a race going on between smartphones’ operating system companies Google and Apple, both leading with their Android and iOS operating systems. But guess what? Mozilla is also joining the race.

Mozilla has announced that it will be working on development of a new opeating system. This will be an open source operating system. It is code named as “Boot To Gecko” as it is powered by Gecko, a layout rendering engine. It will be a completely open source operating system unlike Android.

Leaked: Windows 8 Tablet Coming Soon

A rumor has been noted today that at the D9 conference next week there will be a demonstration of the new Windows 8 tablet. Steven Sinosfsky, the windows group leader who was confirmed todaythat he is going to be an interviewed guest at the show as well as giving a demonstration of the new tablet.
This is going to be the first public display of the tablet.

The company does a phenomenal job of making data affordable for families on the largest 4G network. There are plans that are available for new and existing customers.

There is options depending on price points for talk or unlimited talk, unlimited text and unlimited data — with no data overages — offering 200 MB, 2 GB, 5 GB or 10 GB of high-speed data. Each of the plans also includes unlimited nationwide T-Mobile to T-Mobile calling, and unlimited nights and weekends.

Toshiba Gears Up For Massive OLED Production

Toshiba introduced the OLED as the most portable and most flexible screen, measuring at a size of 0.1mm and weighing in at just a gram. OLED was and is the first flexible screen introduced by Toshiba, as it utilizes an oxide semiconductor TFT, the OLED is composed of a plastic substrate at a temperature of 200 Celsius.

AT&T LTE Tests Show Amazing Speeds

AT&T did a demonstration of its own LTE network in Plano,Texas. It has very impressive results. The LTE network speed was an amazing 28.87 Mbits/s down and 10.4 Mbits/s up. This is way faster than what was reported of the Verizon’s speed. The Verizon’s LTE scored scored peak speeds of 18.6Mbps down and 5.7Mbps up on the LTE network, with averages of 9.2Mbps down and 3.4Mbps up.

Blackberry Releases New Theme

Blackberry has just released the BlackBerry Theme Studio 6. The new features are amazing! The new theme supports the latest blackberry phones; BlackBerry Torch 9800 and BlackBerry Style 9670 handsets, and BlackBerry 6. The theme has graphic pop-up menus. Also, it has BlackBerry Messenger (BBM), Facebook, and Twitter that feeds to your screen. The theme allows you to update all the graphics in the theme automatically.

Sprint And Verizon Are Passing Up T-Mobile and At&t

Sprint is not the biggest of most of the major cell phone carries, but customers are most pleased with their customer service. There was a survey done for the American Consumer Satisfaction that reflects the pleased customers of Sprint Nextel. The survey was done by 8,000 people.

Android Users Sue Google For $50M Over Tracking

We just got wind that two Android users have sued Google over claims that their Android phones were used as a tracking mechanism without their consent. The two people that filed the lawsuit are both residents of Oakland County in Michigan.

The lawsuit was filed on April 27th in a Detroit Federal Court. Both residents use HTC Inspire 4G phones and both claim that “[the Android devices track them] just as if a tracking device for which a court-ordered warrant would ordinarily be required.” The two plaintiffs are looking to turn the Android tracking case into a class action and are seeking $50 million in damages, as well as a court order to force Google to eliminate tracking.
