Adobe Aiming To Move Up In The App Market

Adobe, the digital media and web developing company will close Adobe inMarket and Adobe Airplace.

The company is aiming to pass the privilege to multiple platforms, as this would be more profitable and will help the firm develop an even better image in front of the world in the coming future. Both of the above mentioned stores are announced to close in August.

Blackberry Releases New Theme

Blackberry has just released the BlackBerry Theme Studio 6. The new features are amazing! The new theme supports the latest blackberry phones; BlackBerry Torch 9800 and BlackBerry Style 9670 handsets, and BlackBerry 6. The theme has graphic pop-up menus. Also, it has BlackBerry Messenger (BBM), Facebook, and Twitter that feeds to your screen. The theme allows you to update all the graphics in the theme automatically.

Adobe Color Lava, Eazel, And Nav For Designing Everywhere!

There are a few applications that were written for the iPad by Adobe to showcase the capabilities of the iPad as a creation tool. The first of these applications is called Color Lava, which is available for $3 and is a color-mixing and color scheme creator. The interface is aesthetically pleasing and user friendly, arguably the two most important features of any application. In the top left corner of the screen you will find a well filled with water that is available to clean your digital brush. Below the water well are circular color wells, a mixing area in the middle and give empty color swatches on the right. You can paint from scratch or paint of a photo from iPad’s Photo library. After you’ve created your five swatches, you can send them to Photoshop’s Swatch panel or e-mail your paint swatches to your client, if you have one.

With Adobe’s recent announcement of the company’s Creative Suite release, we see that they are taking a “portable direction”, tailoring their software for mobile devices. The current edition of Creative Suite sells between $1300 and $2600 and includes Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash, Acrobat, and Dreamweaver. Of course, these are programs used to create and modify photos, flash video, website content, and documents.

Adobe’s Photoshop 2: Now Available For iPad

Adobe has just updated the iOS version of the free Photoshop Express to 2.0. This will enhance the camera workflow that was present in version 1.5 and will also add full support for multi-tasking, as well as the iPhone 4’s Retina Display. Adobe added their first in-app purchase, featuring a “Camera Pack” add-on.

Photoshop express runs on mobile devices and desktop web browsers alike, and is used by over 20 million people. The mobile version allows users to easily do basic editing of existing or just-snapped photos, as well as allowing to upload the results to social networks like Facebook and Twitter.
