A $30 Alternative To An iPod

These days, one can find a number of ways to enjoy his music. He can listen on his trendy new iPod nano or stream from his smartphone, for example. Even though iPod nano’s are a bit costly for what you get, there might be a solution to your woes. How would you like a device which is of iPod nano’s size but it is a music player, an e-reader and a watch, all-in-one?

This cool watch-o-music player is called Timesnap. The gadget can be tied on your wrist. It’s basic feature is playing MP3 and MP4 music. The Timesnap has a large storage of 4GB which can be extended by an SD memory card up to 8GB. And to your amazement, it is also an e-reader (you might need a magnifying lens to read from such a tiny display). And of course, it’s also a watch.

Map Packs, How Do You Feel About Them?

FWD.Channel 5 posed a question earlier today, are map packs really worth the money? Map packs are extensions that are sometimes released for popular games, that include new maps or territories for gamers to play. Although I have heard of single player extensions, map packs are usually for multi-player.

I don’t think there is any one rule that says map packs are worth it or not, but I think it goes on a case by case basis, like many things. One factor is the cost of the map pack, another is the popularity of the game, and yet another factor is the game itself.

Let Your MP3 Player Stay Dry In Rain

The new H2O Audio Amphibx Fit Armband allows you to jog in wet weather while keeping your MP3 player dry and protected. While it isn’t the prettiest enclosure in the world, who cares when it comes to protecting your music and usually expensive mp3 device, or cell phone even! If you have an unlimited mobile data plan, you can play Pandora on your phone while you jog in the rain.

Now what about your headphones, what if you want to jog without getting those destroyed and you don’t feel like wearing a bulky hoodie? Okay, well check out H2O’s Audio Surge 2G headphones.

Razer’s Hydra Controllers Now Available!

Razer set out launch plans for the all-new Hydra, a dual-stick motion game controller. The controller looks similar to the Wii remote by design, but is black by default (as shown in the photos). Consumers can pre-order the remote controller for $140, with an estimated time arrival of June. A full version of Portal 2 comes with that price tag, making you ultimately pay about $90 for the remote set.

PlayStation Game LittleBigPlanet 2 Has Over 4 Million Levels

The PlayStation 3 game, LittleBigPlanet 2 has just hit the world record for number of levels in the game. The game truly boasts supremacy with it’s 4 million (and counting) levels! Players worldwide have been able to share the joy and excitement of the expansive one of a kind platform game. So far, the game has 4,141,742 levels, making it virtually unbeatable. Well, it would take 39 years of playing 24/7 to beat the game, assuming that each level takes about five minutes.
