Nintendo Offers 20 Free Games With New 3DS Purchase

It was just last week when Nintendo revealed a price cut for its 3DS portable gaming device. Many believed that the price cut was due to poor sales since the 3DS received many complaints, ranging from eye strain, headaches, and other things like the LCD screen getting scratched against the cover.

Anyways, I guess the company didn’t think that the massive price cut would be enough, so now they’re giving you 20 free games along with your purchase.

Next-Gen Of PCs To Be Powered By Graphene

Technology not only advances with every second but also becomes obsolete every second. Based on current research, it appears that silicon would be out of action in near future and Graphene might take its place.

Graphene is a new substance discovered by scientists at the University of Manchester in 2004. The substance is found to have been composed of just a single layer of Carbon atoms contrary to Silicon which comprises of many layers of Carbon.

New HD LCD Screen By Hitachi

A new LCD screen that was launched by Hitachi, can be used for viewing 3D content without using any glasses. This latest screen is 4.5 inches wide and can be used in small gadgets and portable devices.

According to experts, a lot of improvement has been made in this new LCD screen. Last year, Hitachi launched a 3.1 inch screen with just 480*854 resolution. This time the resolution is 1280*720 which is a big difference and great improvement.

Top Value Tablets- Meet The Archos G9 Series

Archos has just announced a pair of two awesomely new Android Honeycomb tablets, that will get you excited. The two tablets are called the Archos 80 G9 and the Archos 101 G9. Each of the two feature Android’s Honeycomb operating system, a dual-core OMAP 4 processor (@ 1.5GHz) and a 250GB Seagate hard drive.

The lower model costs $279 and features an 8″ screen running an impressive 1024 x 768 pixel resolution, providing a 4:3 aspect ratio.

Vizio Unleashes Vtab1008 Tablet- $349

Vizio has recently put out a new tablet with its VIA (Vizio Internet Apps) Plus ecosystem. Vizio is taking its television screen making prowess and bringing it to tablets near you. The new Vizio Vtab1008 is a Wi-Fi only, 8″ tablet with a 1024 x 768 pixel resolution.

We’re expecting an Android 3.0 Honeycomb release, although the specific version of Android was not listed. The tablet costs $350 and packs a 1GHz processor with a built-in GPS, adding extra value to your new tablet purchase.

Huawei Brings First Android Ice Cream Sandwich Tablet

Electronics manufacturer, Huawei, has just unveiled its 7″ MediaPad tablet, being the first to run the new Android Ice Cream Sandwich operating system. The major difference between this version of Android, and previous versions of Android is that Ice Cream Sandwich is designed to work on smaller tablet devices as well.

The MediaPad is powered by a 1.2GHz dual-core Snapdragon processor and contains a high pixel density display. While the Motorola Xoom currently has the title for highest pixel density at 160ppi (pixels per ince), the new Huawei MediaPad has a pixel density of 217ppi. Just for reference, the iPad 2 only has a paltry 132ppi.

New Toshiba Thrive With Android 3.0

It looks like Toshiba just hopped on the Android tablet bandwagon with its new Toshiba Thrive. The Thrive is a 10.1″ tablet from Toshiba that was shown at CES 2011 and features an Nvidia Tegra 2 dual core processor and will carry 1GB of memory for true computing.

The Toshiba Thrive uses Adaptive Display Technology to automatically adjust the screen’s brightness based on how much light is present in the real-world, and whether it is day or night. With 1080p video decoding and built-in GPS, you can be certain that this will be a purchase well spent.

HP Launches Enticing TouchPad Infomercials

Hewlett-Packard has finally released the videos we’ve all been looking for, videos demonstrating the awesome new features on the new HP TouchPad. The four new videos demonstrate HP Synergy engine, Just Type for searching, Multitasking with cards, and an all-new notifications system for the webOS tablet design.

The first video demonstrates synergy, a way to consolidate information from e-mail sources, calendars, social networks, photo sharing sources, and social media comments, including automatic updating.

KT Telecom Reveals TAKE Janus KM-S200

The Korean wireless carrier, KT Telecom has just priced the TAKE Janus KM-S200. The TAKE Janus looks similar to the Samsung Galaxy S and is the world’s first 1.5GHz dual-core smartphone. The device runs a tried and true Qualcomm MSM8260 and features 1GB of RAM, as well as a vibrant 4.3″ qHD display, running a resolution of 960 x 540.

The Janus KM-S200 shoots full HD 1080p video and has an eight megapixel camera with an integrated DMB-TV digital tuner. With 16GB of storage, you can be sure to pack your favorite songs in this little device, and a 1.3MP front-facing camera lets you video chat with friends.

Archos’ New Family Of Tablets, Coming Soon

Archos seems to be planning on its next generation of tablet PCs. We don’t have many details just yet but AndroidCommunity seems to think that the bee buzzing in the advertisement is representative of Android Honeycomb, and I would have to agree. Supposedly, whatever is going down will be revealed on June 23rd, so stay tuned later this month!
