Dropbox Moving To A Bigger Office

Dropbox is an application which allows users to share and sync files, data, videos and lots of stuff with other dropbox users sing your computer, phones and other devices. The company is growing very fast and now they are about to hire hundreds of people.

Dropbox company had decided to move their current office which is only 11,000 sq. ft. to a new office situated in San Francisco Market Street across the town to 185 Berry Street in China Basin which is around 85,000 sq. ft.. This is just down the street from AT&T park. The movement is planned next year.

Verizon On The Horizon: 19 More Cities Get LTE

Verizon Wireless has just announced that it will be adding 19 more cities to its blazing fast, LTE wireless network. The rollout begins on Thursday and will bring happiness to many Verizon Wireless customers looking to get faster data times with their usage.

In addition to the increased coverage, previously covered cities such as San Francisco and Detroit will get expanded coverage. This means that if you live in the outskirts of San Francisco and were just out of reach of LTE before, you should be golden soon.

San Fran Tech Companies Get Tax Break

The city of San Francisco, California approved a tax holiday that will save Zynga, Yelp, and other Internet companies within the city, millions of dollars. The officials are hoping to preserve San Francisco’s image as a tech center, even though most of the major Silicon Valley companies (Google, Apple, Intel, and HP) are in the San Jose area.

Opponents of the deal call it a payoff to the already-wealthy companies. Under San Francisco’s payroll tax, companies with over $250,000 in payroll are required to pay the city 1.5% of the total employee compensation each year.
