A recent application has just been unleashed on the Android market. According to MixToMax from XDAdevelopers, a new app called AnimeWatch allows users to view their favorite English subtitled animes (animation) on their Android devices. The app also allows users to check the latest releases, and provides users with a database of over 1200 anime series to go through! The only requirements for the app is that you have Adobe Flash to stream the content and the developer of AnimeWatch recommends using Android 2.2 or higher for optimal viewing.

The anti-virus platform, Sophos has warned that users have been receiving fake invites tempting Lady Gaga fans to have a look at a “banned video.” Users who follow the link will be pointed to a fake YouTube spoof page that will ask for all their twitter details. Those who proceed will have their tweets controller by Spanish-speaking scammers, as reported by a number of victims.

Sony has released the Crackle app for the iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch this past Monday. The new application allows consumers to stream full-length movies and television shows to their respective Apple devices, for free. That’s right, users can enjoy unlimited, on demand viewing for free. The app comes as an extension of the www.crackle.com website it streams movies and television episodes at the cost of the viewer watching a couple of commercials.
