Facebook Now Allows You To Edit Comments

Surely there have been times you written a comment in Facebook, responding to an update, only to find that you have a typo or simply didn’t write what you wanted. Before, all you could do was delete that comment or, if you saw an error quickly, you could edit it within a few seconds after you wrote that post.

Facebook has rolled out a new update that allows users to actually edit a comment long after it has been posted. Facebook’s support page has the simple details on how to edit a comment you’ve already posted. This new feature should be available to all Facebook users in the next few days. With the new update, users will be able to edit their comments at any time, even with comments that you have previously written on other user’s status updates.

Show Me The Tweets!!!

The NFL has teamed up with Visa and Twitter for Super Bowl XLV to engage users in a new social exchange and promote their brands. The trio launched a Super Bowl campaign dubbed “Go Inside Super Bowl XLV With Visa” with a cool site. Using the @nfl for the NFL, @packers for the Green Bay Packers and @steelers for the Pittsburgh Steelers you are able to interact with them on Twitter.

The site displays three different graphs that pull data from the Twitterverse; a heat map of sorts showing real-time visualization of trending topics — the larger the area the more tweets for that topic, a gridiron showing number of mentions for given keywords, and a US map overlay indicating frequency of hash tag tweets across the country. The site is neat with lots of goodies, including tweets from famous athletes and graphics that shows volume of tweets on any given NFL-related topic.
