Leak: Nokia 700 Zeta Smartphone

We’ve just heard about the Nokia 700 Zeta leak, designed to succeed the previous Nokia C6-01. The phone will feature the latest in Symbian software using Belle as its operating system. The Zeta is expected to be one of the thinnest Nokia phones out there.

The phone features a 5MP camera with LED flash, NFC support (yay), and a gorgeous 3.5″ nHD AMOLED display that will make your mobile games come to life. I have heard some criticisms that AMOLED displays cause stress on the eyes when used for longer periods of time, but let’s just hope you’re not one of those phone addicts.

HP Palm Pre Hitting Stores On July 8th

If you are a fanatic of HP’s Palm Pre lineup, you’ll be excited to hear that July 8 will be the day it ships, at least in the U.K. The smartphone can be pre-ordered already and will arrive as a SIM-free, unlocked price of 349 pounds, or about $600 USD.

The Pre 3 runs WebOS 2.2 and rocks alright specifications, nothing as flashy as the new HTC phones, but what can you expect from HP in the mobile department. The phone comes as a quad band unit and weighs 156 grams.

Intel 710 + 720 SSDs Get Leaked

We have just got word of the leaked enterprise solid state drives from Intel. The Intel 710 “Lyndonville” and the Intel 720 “Ramsdale” are now in the spotlight. The 710 has 25nm HET MLC, a more durable form of MLC (multi-level cell). The 710 comes in a number of capacities, 100GB, 200GB, and 300GB, claiming to have read and write speeds of 270MB/s over 210MB/s, running on a solid 3Gbps SATA connection.

The 720 comes on 34nm SLC (single-level cell) chips, and comprises a 200GB and 400GB capacity. The speeds it carries are read/write of up to 2200MB/s over 1800MB/s, which may be a typo from the leaked roadmap or the majority of solid-state drives will drastically go down in price.
