A Ring-Embedded Computer Mouse From MicroPointing

Micropointing, an Israeli startup company has just come up with a miniature mouse, although this is probably not the mini mouse you’re thinking of. This mini mouse has a sensor control area that is a single square millimeter.

The touchpad? Embedded in a ring. No, this isn’t some Lord of the Rings joke, this is technology at its finest. The sensors are mounted on micro-sized posts that are a few tenths of a millimeter apart from eachother.

How To Use Social Media, Effectively

Jason Hiner from ZDNet wrote a compelling article on how we should use different social media platforms such as Twitter, Facebook, and LinkedIn. He argues that we should treat different social platforms much like we would treat our own kids. Rather than parenting each child in the exact same way, Hiner notes that it is often best to treat each kid a bit differently and adhere to their individual strengths and weaknesses. Rather than cross-posting in Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Foursquare, Hiner thinks it is best to post in such a way that is optimal for each social platform.

Foursquare, Reddit, Quora, Hootsuite, And Moby Experience Simultaneous Meltdown

Amazon, one of the world’s leading cloud services providers allows affordable pricing that enables smaller companies to grow into their bigger potentials. The downside to all this of course is that many sites are hosted to the same service, and a outage like the one experienced today can easily wipe out the social experience for many.
