Computers The Size Of Routers: Syx Venture M220

The Syx Venture M220 desktop PC is ideal for those who need a rock solid computer, but don’t want a huge tower at (or under) their desk. I feel that mini PCs are underrated, simply due to their novel presence on the computing market.

Rest assured, however, that the M220 is no lightweight. The computer ships with 2GB of RAM but can support as much as 4GB of DDR3 RAM. It comes pre-loaded with Windows 7 Professional 32-bit and six USB 2.0 ports to ensure that all your peripherals stay connected.

We’ve covered the Samsung Series 7, and the Samsung Series 4, how about some Samsung Series 5 action? The 12.1″ display will run the Chrome operating system and will be available on June 15th, globally. Depending on where you’re located, you can expect to pay between $350-$500 for this slick 3G machine. Weighing in around three pounds, this notebook provides its users with 8.5 hours of battery life while running on a powerful Atom Dual-Core Processor.

Fujitsu Lifebook TH Series W/ Oaktrail

Fujitsu has just launched the Lifebook TH series and it looks awesome! The Lifebook TH carries a 10.1″ 1024 x 600 capacitive touch display, powered with a brand new Oaktrail Z670 processor, identical to make of the upcoming tablets hitting the market. If you don’t know anything about processors, you have my permission to think “Oak trees and Trail mix.” Now, the design is simply beautiful, I’m a big fan of the wide black border around the display, and the way it slides out and tilts like that.

Samsung Announces New Tablet W/ SENS-240

Samsung has so far been quite successful with the tablets and Android phones it has created. With continued success, the company has announced a new product today called the hybrid tablet with the SENS-240. The devices were built to work with a Samsung Android smartphone or tablet. The SENS-240 is of course a car navigation system that can connect to a normal phone using bluetooth. With the SENS-240 connected to the smartphone/tablet, it is able to send voice, data, voice search, and video and play the content on the seven inch screen.

The Acer Aspire Z5763 All-In-One With 3D

Acer has introduced its latest all-in-one PC, the Acer Aspire Z5763, with one new feature, 3D. The beautiful 23-inch display showcases a 1920 x 1080 resolution and uses Nvidia’s 3D technology with an integrated emitter for active shutter glasses. Consumers will have the option of choosing an i5 (2400 or 2500 series) or an i7 2600s CPU, as well as an Nvidia GeForce GT440 or a GeForce GT435M card.

Diamonds Last Forever, But What About Speakers?

Hercules has released a new mini-speaker kit that runs off USB 2.0 power. They claim it is designed for “female audiences”, but we can picture some wanna-be gangsters buying these to add some bling to their bling bling. Since these speakers run on only one chord for both audio and power, they make the ideal speaker set for people who use laptops. I don’t think these will necessarily deliver…
